Why does Tristan Tate think being a cop is hard in America?

Tate recently shared a video from @MostlyPeacefulMemes along with his tweet.

The caption of the clip reads, "Save this video for the next time some retard is like 'Did they really need to shoot him so many times'.”

The video depicted a police officer's interaction with a middle-aged man who was observed breaking a stick over the officer's head, followed by gunshots and the man falling to the ground.

In response to the clip, Tate expressed his perspective, stating, "A man a foot taller and stronger than is high as fuck on drugs and attacking you with a stick, he breaks it over your head before you fire a shot. This is fine. But I also get the point, if he were black there would indeed be outrage. It’s hard being a cop in America."
