Did Trey Songz's ex Tanaya Henry just take a swipe at him? Model says X-rated personal videos are 'so cringe'

Tanaya Henry who dated Trey Songz for seven years is one of the few people on the planet who can verify if the leaked sex tape features the 'real' Trey Songz, which till now hasn't been confirmed

Tanaya Henry, Trey Songz's ex who broke up with him way back in September 2015, seemingly commented on the X-rated footage that allegedly featured her former boyfriend. In a tweet right after the sex tape was leaked that allegedly featured the 36-year-old rapper, she tweeted:  “Folks leaking their personal xxx videos for attention is so cringe.”

But right after that, when Twitter users asked if she was talking about Trey Songz, she denied that she knew what they were talking about. One user outright asked her, "You miss it or nah?" to which Henry replied. "Miss what?". This promoted the user to spell out what she was asking about, writing: "Damn ! I was hoping it didn’t go over your head so I could just get a yes or no answer. But that thang swinging in that video ?" to which Henry replied again, "Nah haven’t seen a video, been at work. Clearly something happened that I’m not aware of because random girls are coming at me".

From her tweets, it seemed like she knew there was "a video" going around and the timing of her tweet so close to the sex tape leak is puzzling. She is also one of the few people on the planet who can verify if the sex tape features the 'real' Trey Songz, which till now hasn't been confirmed. Obviously, other people had messaged her about the tape's authenticity because she soon logged off Twitter saying people were "psychotic".

Who is Tanaya Henry?

Tanaya Henry dated Trey Songz for seven years before they broke up in September 2015. She has known Trey Songz since she graduated high school in Minnesota. In a 2013 interview, she called him "one of my best friends". The two were secretly dating at the time. However, the break up happened when Henry thought their relationship had become "too messy". Henry is also a model and jewelry designer. She regularly tweets and Instagrams about her latest jewelry designs. 

Henry joined Wilhelmina Models after coming to New York in 2006. She became a recognizable face when she became a human billboard for her year-long 'She Wears Your Tee' campaign in 2010. During the campaign, companies would pay her daily to wear a tee-shirt with their logos on them every day of the month as advertising. She started building her brand 'Lace by Tanaya' post-2009 after she made some cash designing jewelry pieces as a struggling model in New York. Her designs have been worn by celebrities like Alicia Keys and Kanye West. In 2015, she appeared in Songz’s music video 'Slow Motion', as his love interest. 

Even though no one knows who she is dating, Henry posted a screenshot of a racy text message conversation to show she is far from single with the caption "Daddy Energy". "Ima pipe you down u when I get home later," said her mystery lover in the phone texts. When someone asked if she was referring to Trey, another user replied: "Please let this woman have her own life outside of who she dated YEARS ago.. Smfh".
