MADISON, WISCONSIN: Pro-transgender activists ate Holy Bible as Matt Walsh, arrived at the University of Wisconsin on Monday, October 24, for an event featuring his controversial documentary 'What is a Woman?.' The event featured and screened the documentary, which questions the validity of the transgender ideology, which left the protesters furious.

In a video released by Young America foundation, protesters can be seen chewing the bible after shoving the pages while in another video, one of the students is seen reading the bible before activists snatched and ripped it up, reported Fox News.

"The leftists attempt to silence a student reading the Bible demonstrate their utter contempt for the Judeo-Christian values upon which America was founded," Nick Baker, a spokesperson for Young America’s Foundation, told in a statement. "We’re seeing this sort of insane behavior on college campuses across the country, and it’s time to hold these students accountable," MJ Alfonso, Program Officer for Digital Media at YAF, told Fox News Digital about the scene, reported Fox News.

The protesters chanted, “Trans rights are human rights” while being led by a woman wrapped in a rainbow flag. Protesters were screaming into megaphones, "white people are 'f***ing racist', and they are there to chase Nazis off the U-W campus collectively."  A student stated that white people must realize "how hard it is every single f***ing day for BIPOC people - especially at this institution." The crowd can also be heard chanting 'trans right are human rights' led by a woman draped in a rainbow flag.

Rayna Cordon, one of the protesters who represented on behalf of a local abortion rights group, claimed, 'It’s like a double standard to allow the Nazis and the transphobes and the self-proclaimed fascists to have the mic and not give it to the actual community members that are funding your school, that are attending your classes, that are teaching your classes."

On the other hand, Walsh, the Conservative commentator, received a warm welcome from a group of students at the university. However, the program was successful, and the screening was a full house at the University of Wisconsin. YAF tweeted, " Despite the protests, the lines continue to grow for @MattWalshBlog’s #WhatIsAWoman screening at University of Wisconsin-Madison!"

Meanwhile, Walsh also commented on the protests. He tweeted, quoting the video where the protester was eating the bible, "Well, you can be on the side that eats the Bible and castrates children, or you can be on literally any side but that one. Your choice, America." Another tweet from the conservative commentator said, "Leftist crybullies at @UWMadison vandalized a veteran’s memorial along with several other buildings because they’re upset that I’m speaking on campus. The university responded by apologizing to the vandals and taking their side. The worst cowardice I’ve ever seen by a university." He stated, "Do I at least get to claim the title as the most protested conservative in America at present?," in another tweet.

As per the official statement regarding the property destruction, a university spokesperson said: "The university is deeply committed to the right to free speech . . . However, criminal damage to the university’s buildings and spaces– for any reason or purpose– is unacceptable and will not be tolerated."
