Did Matt Walsh really suggest 16-year-old girls should be impregnated? Resurfaced rant shocks Internet
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Right-wing political commentator, Matt Walsh, has sparked public outrage on Twitter after an old rants of his surfaced online. In his tirade, he claims that adolescent pregnancy isn't the problem haunting society — rather, it is unwed pregnancy that is the problem. He then encouraged the practice of impregnating young girls as that is "technically when they're at their most fertile." Twitteratis have not taken to this statement well, lashing at his shocking comments.
Walsh went on to say that “this biological process” of girls getting pregnant at an early age is nothing new and has been prevalent since 1957 when the first birth records were registered. In the clip, Walsh states, “To all of a sudden act like this phenomenon of girls getting pregnant at a young age, to be considered young – 16 or 17 – to act like it’s a new thing is ridiculous. It’s always been that way.”

He then stated that girls are most fertile between the ages of 17 to 24. However, his statements have been called out by people on Twitter, who are in shock over his absurd claims. One shared their view on the social media platform by saying, "My mother married at 16, had me at 17, my brother at 18 and by 20 she had three children. Her husband beat the living daylights out of her and the police were being called by our neighbors. Getting married as teenagers may not be a great thing." Another user on Twitter expressed, "It’s so infuriating how repulsive men like Matt Walsh keep opining on and discussing the most intimate aspects of women’s - of GIRL’s - lives in such a possessive way."
But while many users were quick to diss Walsh, one user sided with Walsh by saying, "So many leftists so desperate to try and find a dunk on Matt Walsh that they're grasping at straws here. He never "advocates" for teen pregnancy, and never says that older men should be the ones impregnating them All he says - ALL - is teen pregnancy is not a new phenomenon." Another user also slammed Walsh's critics, saying, "This is the most disgusting, most absolutely misleading description of what he actually said in the recording. You should be ashamed of yourself."
Many users were also disturbed by the import of Walsh's comments that suggested he saw girls as young as 16 as sexually mature. "I believe the politically correct term for guys like this is 'groomer'," remarked one disgusted critic. Another user believed they knew what Walsh was thinking about by saying, "Not surprised at all. Of course he did. These creeps always project their desire to prey on children on others."
It is not the first time Walsh has been slammed for his comments as the anti-feminist blogger once wrote that emojis are for children and women. Those comments resulted in a similar outrage with Twitter users labeling him toxic and pathetic.
