LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After weeks of guesswork, it' has now been confirmed that Lady Gaga will not sing her Oscar-nominated 'Top Gun: Maverick' song 'Hold My Hand' at Sunday's 95th annual Academy Awards, but will be in attendance as a nominee. 'A Star is Born' actress' schedule is packed with her latest project for the next installment of Warner Bros Pictures' upcoming musical 'Joker: Folie a Deux.'
Academy Awards' executive producer and showrunner Glenn Weiss said in a press conference that Lady Gaga will not be appearing at the Oscars in Los Angeles. "We have a great relationship with Lady Gaga and her camp," Weiss said, according to Variety. "She is in the middle of shooting a movie right now. This is where we honor the film industry and what it takes to make a movie after a bunch of back and forth," he added. After news broke that 'House of Gucci' actress would not be appearing at this year's Oscars, fans spoke out with messages expressing confusion, joy and humor.
