'This is uncalled for': Tommy Lee's wife Brittany Furlan criticized for 'disrespectful' video mocking Pamela Anderson
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: Brittany Furlan came under fire after she openly mocked Pamela Anderson in a now-deleted TikTok video. Tommy Lee's current wife discreetly removed a contentious TikTok video employing a filter that mimicked the well-known "'90s makeup" look of the Playboy model which critics dubbed as "disrespectful." The video, which Furlan titled "Pam if I died," showed her acting unconcerned by the news of Furlan's death before laying down next to Tommy Lee.
"Pls guys I gotta make jokes it’s how I cope," she captioned the TikTok video. The former Vine star immediately erased the TikTok post after realizing she couldn't "cope" with the criticism, but not before other users screen-recorded and re-shared it, prompting a furious backlash from followers who felt Furlan was being "disrespectful." "Even if she’s ‘joking’ that doesn’t give her the right to say horrible things like that," a user commented on the since-deleted video, and another person added, "Pam has been nothing but respectful to her. This is so uncalled for."

Netflix documentary 'Pamela: A Love Story'
Anderson discussed her turbulent relationship with Lee in her memoir 'Love, Pamela' and the forthcoming Netflix documentary 'Pamela: A Love Story'. Despite the alleged abuse he purportedly inflicted on her, she referred to him as the genuine love of her life and talked fondly of him. Although Anderson has been married several times, she said that she believed Lee was essentially her soul mate. Even though she acknowledged that Furlan would probably not find her narrative amusing, she insisted that it was her truth. Following the documentary release Furlan told fans that she was “OK” following the documentary’s release.
“Thank you to everyone that’s been sticking up for me and stuff like that,” she said. “Don’t worry about anything.” "I just wanted to come on here to let you know that I'm OK," Furlan said in a video, "because I know people have been checking on me, which is really nice, and I'm good. Don't worry, and don't worry about all the people that are saying all the mean things that they're saying. That's totally, you know, I don't live in that world. So, please don't stress and thank you to all the people that have been so sweet," as per Page six.
'Not the first time'
Despite the disapproval of her supporters, this is not the first time Furlan has criticized Anderson. In a 2019 interview with OK Magazine, the social media personality discussed her awkward non-relationship with the Baywatch actor during the early years of her marriage to Lee, whom she married in 2019. "She had never met me and had no care to meet me and blocked me on social media when Tommy and I started dating, so I already knew that she wasn’t happy about me in their life," Furlan claimed at the time. "It was just so ridiculous and really awful and it just made me really upset because she doesn’t know me and knew nothing about me or my life," the 36-year-old continued. "So I was just really hurt and I think it threatened a lot of people that I was coming along and we [Tommy Lee] were getting so serious and people in the family were threatened by that and they didn’t want to lose him." "I just hope that one day everyone can be cool and be friends and be nice to each other," Furlan added.
