Who is Todrick Hall? 'Celebrity Big Brother' star is embroiled in controversies
Social media is abuzz with Taylor Swift after the singer slammed Netflix’s show ‘Ginny & Georgia’ for making a joke about her personal life. The singer called out the show for using the dialogue “You go through men faster than Taylor Swift”. Before her fans and followers could come to her defense, her bestie, 'American Idol' alum Todrick Hall pounced on Twitter to weigh in.
He tweeted, “Taylor has bigger balls than any man I’ve ever dated. Let’s make holding people, writers, networks accountable for treating humans like humans and not allowing them to use someone’s personal life as the butt of a joke…”

However, it didn't take Twitter users long to dig into his older tweets, to prove that he was a "hypocrite", as one of them shared the screenshot of his deleted tweet which read, "Also, SHE HASN'T DTAED a crazy amount of people..the joke makes no sense and not that it matters but I can think of quite a few pop stars who run through men/women like it's cardio and no one mentioned their names. The double standards are ridiculous"
Hall started trending on Twitter as more people expressed their opinion about his bias towards Swift while putting down other stars with a similar reputation. One tweeted, "todrick hall you’re an ass kisser...it’s embarrassing how you try to please taylor and “defend” her by slut shaming other women and calling it “double standards” you really thought you did something." Another added, "so todrick hall’s way of defending a white woman is by slut shaming other women and calling it “double standards”

Who is Todrick Hall?

As a singer and songwriter, he has released three studio albums including 'Straight Outta oz', 'Forbidden' and 'Quarantine Queen'. A look at Hall's long list of controversies
For the uninitiated, Hall isn't new to controversies. Even though he aspires to be a role model for LGBTQ+ community and people of color, he has come under fire for allegedly making racist remarks in the past. And, more than one person, who has closely worked with the YouTuber, has slammed him for not making payments on time.
Hall's made headlines for the wrong reasons when his assistant Tommy McKissock made a series of allegations against him. According to the Insider reports, McKissock distributed a copy of a 2018 legal complaint alleging "sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, failure to pay overtime, failure to pay minimum wage, and breach of contract against Hall".
The reports also claimed that Hall allegedly came to a settlement with the plaintiff, who had been the manager of Hall's world tour for his album 'Straight Outta Oz'.
He told Insider, "I want to expose Todrick and Chester because they are men in power who have a history of exploiting others for their own professional gain. I was silenced for years based on intimidation and threats to my career. I no longer fear the repercussions of speaking out."
Earlier, a dancer and choreographer who worked with Hall accused him of non-payment and of allegedly making anti-Black comments. Hall responded to White's claims about non-payment on Twitter but refrained from talking about other allegations. "My comment; I adore Thom, like LOVE him. This is surprising to me, he hasn’t been paid yet, he will be...not because he’s trying to “expose” me but because he deserves it. I only got two texts, no calls, I was over seas opening my tour & that video has only been out for 2 weeks," the tweet read.

In 2018, drag queen Manila Luzon accused Hall of not paying her after she hosted his Halloween party. According to reports, a DJ and another performer had not received any payments either.
