NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A viral TikTok has prompted debate about how often men think about the Roman Empire, as reported by The Independent.

This new TikTok trend has also made its way to the ‘Today’ show as a part of Carson Daly’s Pop Start segment.

Daly explained the latest trend to his co-hosts and showed some examples of the same. As Craig Melvin and Daly had a little back and forth about the Roman Empire and the trend surrounding it, Al Roker looked confused for the entire segment.

During the Pop Start segment, Carson Daly, sat with his co-hosts on the couch as Daly read out the topic, “A viral video that is sparking a lot of surprising conversation between men and women on TikTok, take a look.”

‘Today’ show then showcased a series of TikToks where women were asked their male partners, “How many times do you think about the Roman Empire?”

Daly explained that the hashtag Roman Empire and the video went viral, which led to the trend, and that was the first time Al Roker looked shocked and confused.

As Daly continued his explanation, Al Roker remained silent the entire time, still with a confused look on his face. After Craig Melvin chimed in with his point of view, he turned to face Roker who sat next to him, “Do you think about it a lot?”
