LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Today’ show has a range of anchors, but there’s one weatherman who stands out as a fan-favorite, and yes, we are talking about the legendary Al Roker. Roker has managed to weasel his way into the viewers' hearts with his sense of humor, honesty, and just overall persona. So when Roker underwent serious knee surgery, he had everyone worried.

Nevertheless, Roker isn’t the one to stay in bed sulking for too long, and the ‘Today’ show is proof of that. Roker is all up for challenges, even when it includes possibly compromising his healing process. The fan-favorite weatherman participated in a yoga segment on ‘Today’ this Monday. Not only has he participated, but also made everyone laugh, all at the same time. But is Roker OK?

‘What’s the first move?’

The ’Start Today’ segment welcomed Sarah Larson Levey, who joined Roker, Dylan Dreyer, and Sheinelle Jones for yoga. From the get-go, Roker seemed more than excited about the segment as he chimed in, “What’s the first move?” before Levey could even finish her introduction. Levey looked at Roker and asked, “Are you ready?” to which Roker responded without a pause or hesitation, “You bet!”

Some of the poses that Levey taught Roker, Jones, and Dreyer included the mountain pose, where Roker couldn’t help himself as he made animal noises, making his co-hosts laugh as they tried to focus on yoga. After Levey herself couldn’t hold back her laughter, Roker took charge and introduced the next yoga pose for those working from home. This one included some knee bending and Roker managed it just as smoothly as the other women, with only a little struggle.

Roker ends yoga segment

Levey’s poses got a little more complex as they involved continuous bending, which wasn't possibly easy for Roker. especially after his knee replacement surgery. Whether it was the difficulty level or the time of the segment being up, as the others continue their yoga poses, Roker stood up and clapped his hands together to get their attention. He then said, “Sarah, thank you so much, this is fantastic, I feel better already.” Roker then addresses the viewers that the segment has come to an end. Looks like Roker might need some good rest after that segment!
