TLC singer Chilli dating 'Boy Meets World' star Matthew Lawrence, make relationship Instagram official

ATLANTA, GEORGIA: TLC star Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas is reportedly dating former ‘Boy Meets World’ star, Matthew Lawrence.

The singer, 51, and the actor, 42, are said to be sharing an exclusive relationship after becoming more than just friends during the Thanksgiving season. Chilli's rep told TMZ that the new couple celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas together in Atlanta, where Lawrence even met Chilli’s family for the first time. The couple reportedly went Instagram official with their romance recently when they shared a video dancing to a-ha's ‘Take on Me’ in their pajamas.

The couple was also photographed getting close to each other at Waikiki Beach in August, 2022. However, at that time, their reps debunked their dating rumors reportedly stating the duo were simply friends. Chilli’s rep told TMZ that TLC happened to have a performance on the island, which Lawrence and his friends watched.

Chilli is best known for her involvement in TLC, one of the most popular girl groups of all time. The group was formed in 1991 with Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, handling the leads. Till now, the iconic group has sold 65 million records worldwide. Speaking of her love history, Chilli previously dated singer Usher and appeared in the music videos for his songs ‘U Remind Me’, ‘U Got It Bad’, and ‘U Don't Have To’ Call. Tragically, the couple parted ways in 2003 with Chilli claiming at that time that the 'Yeah!' singer cheated on her, according to DailyMail.

Lawrence, on the other hand, is a globally renowned actor, known for his performance with Robin Williams in the 1993 comedy ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’. He also starred in several other TV shows including ‘Brotherly Love’, which captured him sharing the screen with his brothers Joey and Andrew. His latest on-screen appearance came as a contestant on the reality series 'Worst Cooks In America'.

Lawrence was previously married to 'Dancing With the Stars' pro-Cheryl Burke. The former couple ended their three-year marriage in February 2022, though she listed their date of separation as January 7. The divorce document, obtained by Page Six, stated that the couple dated for three years before tying the knot. While Lawrence has not publicly acknowledged the divorce, Burke has admitted she was “kind of lonely” without a husband. “At the end of the day, you know, when I close my eyes and go to bed, it is kind of lonely,” she said on her podcast.
