Tim Pool was trolled for a tweet, asking people to compliment liberal women by comparing them to Lizzo or Dylan Mulvaney. In a recent tweet, Pool wrote, "Start complimenting liberal women by telling them they look like either dylan mulvaney or lizzo".

Tim Pool has been blasted for inappropriate social media posts in the past as well, including for his comments on the mass shooting at the Colorado gay club wherein he called the meet-ups a "grooming event."

“We shouldn’t tolerate pedophiles grooming kids,” Pool tweeted. “Club Q had a grooming event. How do prevent the violence and stop the grooming?” Pool had tweeted at the time, following which he was met with massive social media outrage.

Recent controversies around Dylan Mulvaney and Lizzo

Anheuser-Busch's brand Bud Light's partnership with controversial transgender TikTok star Mulvaney on April 1 resulted in a nationwide boycott of the beer company. It cost the company over $6B. It was reported that Bud Light marketing executive Alissa Heinerscheid later took a leave of absence.

In 2022, Lizzo was slammed for a line in her song 'GRRRLs' where she used what is considered an ableist slur. The word was used in the song's opening verse. "I'd never heard it used as a slur against disabled people, never ever," Lizzo had told Vanity Fair. "The music I make is in the business of feeling good and being authentic to me. Using a slur is unauthentic to me, but I did not know it was a slur." Lizzo has, on several occasions, been body-shamed online.

'They shouldn’t be insulted'

Social media users slammed Pool for his recent tweet, with one user saying, "You steal everything, do you have any Original Idea that is yours?" "Tim, you think liberal women are worried about who you think is attractive? You suave master of dating you," said one user. "You have no idea how inspired I am this very minute," one user said sarcastically.

"I’m sure most women will be so warm and understanding when met with such a compliment, amirite?' one user said, while another joked, "Dude that’s an excellent joke omg you’re a genius! Do you write your own material?!" "Lizzo and Dylan are both beautiful so they shouldn’t be insulted!" one user wrote.
