Who is Tim Pool? YouTuber blasted for SICK tweet alleging Club Q had 'a grooming event' for children
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: YouTuber Tim Pool shook Twitter with his insensitive comments as he talked about the mass shooting at the Colorado gay club and called the meet-ups a "grooming event" sending the community and people online into a rage. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 19, at Club Q, a famous hangout spot called an "adult-oriented gay & lesbian nightclub hosting theme nights such as karaoke, drag shows & DJs," and killed five people.
The tragedy struck when a gunman unloaded his weapon in Club Q while the venue hosted a drag show and dance party. The 36-year-old YouTuber targeted the same event and shared a series of tweets directed at grooming children and gay clubs. In one of the tweets, he alleged, "We shouldnt tolerate pedophiles grooming kids Club Q had a grooming event How do prevent the violence and stop the grooming?"

Internet slams Tim Pool for sick comments on Club Q shooting
One angry user tweeted, "Their bodies haven't even been laid to rest and Tim Pool has spent all day calling the people murdered groomers and pedophiles. He like the rest of the right isn't reflecting on the violence, they're celebrating it. Inciting even more until LGBTQ+ people are slaughtered." Another user wrote, "If you think a “kid friendly book reading” by LGBTQ people is “grooming” then that’s your fucking problem. Don’t make it the rest of the world’s problem too, you embarrassing bigot."

One user tweeted, "this is a genuinely evil reaction it's actually hard for me to comprehend how anyone's reaction to five people being murdered is to speculate that they were probably pedophiles who we need to protect ourselves from—the exact rhetoric that inspired the fascist who murdered them" Another user wrote, "Thank you for admitting you are part of the problem and not part of the solution. Blanketly calling any drag show a "grooming event" is just a lie, and a lie that leads to violence like we saw in Co Springs."
