'Killed it': Tim McGraw enjoys themed dinners with wife Faith Hill and daughters ahead of Christmas
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: It seems Tim McGraw is having a gala time ahead of Christmas and New year as he recently enjoyed a family dinner with his wife of over two decades, Faith Hill, and three daughters. The December 21 Instagram post of the party also featured a few more faces. All of the people were seen sporting different costumes while posing in front of a big Christmas tree.
The country singer wrote in the caption that “last night we did an ‘Icon’ theme dinner!” before sharing, “See if u can guess who we all are! Merry Christmas!!!” Tim’s elder daughter Gracie also posted numerous photos from the party as she wrote, “Our big theme night finale was !ICONS! I’d say we all pretty much killed it.”

However, that was not all as a few days earlier too the family had a great time together. According to a December 19 Instagram post from Gracie, the McGraws had ‘The Great’ themed celebration while on December 14, they enjoyed a ‘The Godfather’ theme party as the oldest one said, “Never go against the family. Buonasera, Buonasera.”
Tim had also posted about ‘The Godfather’ theme party with a short video and a caption that read, “‘The Godfather’ dinner theme night last night... Love my family and all the craziness that comes with it!”, attracting a lot of positive comments from people, like “Beautiful family,” “Very nice Tim enjoy your time with them,,happy holidays ❤️❤️❤️,” “This is Great 👍 your girls always have wonderful ideas to make great memories 🙌🙌,” and “Love these photos multitalented amazing family...wild and wonderful.”
However, the 55-year-old record producer’s life has not always been happy and sorted. There was a time when he became an alcoholic. He reportedly once shared, “I drank too much. I partied too much. And I did other things too much.” But he soon took his wife’s help to come out of it and later admitted, “She saved my life in many ways — from myself more than anything. Sometimes, I can go down a dark road, and she pulls me out. My wife makes me a better man.”
Tim and Faith also reportedly struggled when their children grew up and left the home to pursue their dreams. Last year, the actor told PEOPLE, “You're used to getting up in the morning, taking kids to school, going to softball practices and basketball practices and cheerleader practices and all of a sudden all that's gone when your last one leaves.”
He continued, “I miss the afternoons because Faith would always make sure something was cooking when they would come home from school. I miss them coming in and smelling what mom's cooking and being excited about having dinner. I miss the energy around,” before adding, “There were times when we had 15 teenage girls in our house talking about boys and life and everything going on. We're still a really close family; we talk all the time. But it's difficult when your kids leave. All of a sudden they don't need you as much anymore. And I think it's probably more difficult for Mom.”
