Co-stars Deedee Magno Hall and Chasen Hampton confirm the death of Hale, who appeared on the popular TV show from 1989 till 1995

Tragedy struck the 'Micky Mouse Club' family on Christmas Day after it was revealed former club member Tiffini Hale died at the age of 46. Hale's death was confirmed by co-stars on Instagram, who revealed her passing on December 30. Apart from posts by Deedee Magno Hall and Chasen Hampton, little is known about Hale's passing as the family has requested privacy during this difficult time.

The news of Hale's passing rounds up a difficult year for Hollywood, with many beloved celebrities passing away this year. Even the small screen has been quite affected, with TV stars like Robert Hogan ('The Wire' and 'Law & Order') and 'Peaky Blinders' actor Toby Kirkup passing away this year. The list is quite long, marking a challenging year for all of us, made worse by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hall and Hampton put up posts on December 30 confirming Hale's passing. "It is with the heaviest of broken hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of our beloved sister, Tiffini Talia Hale," they said. Along with the news, they also provided some information into what exactly happened to Hale. 

How did Tiffini Hale die?

Despite being just 46 years old, Hall and Hampton said Hale suffered a heart attack "earlier this month". It's unclear when the attack happened, but it was so bad that Hale ended up in a coma. After a few weeks, her condition did not improve and Hale passed away on December 25. "Tiffini’s family has kindly asked that their privacy be respected as they take this time to grieve," the duo added.

"Tiffini’s mother Nancy and sister Tanya send their love to all, as well as many thanks for such kind support through the years. On behalf of Tiffini’s family, and her Party and MMC brothers and sisters, we want to thank all of you for the love and well wishes you have expressed for our dear Tiffini," the post continued. It did not provide any details of when Hale's service would be. It's unclear where she was living at the time of her death either, with Hale having faded into the background after shooting to stardom.

She first made a splash by appearing on 'The All New Mickey Mouse Club' for its entire run, as well as on the Disney Channel pop group The Party. The group went on a hiatus in 1997, and when it returned in 2013, it did so sans Hale. She also made a brief appearance on the 1993 TV series 'Blossom' as herself. Since 2000, Hale has not been credited on any shows as per her IMDb page, with her only credit listed in the upcoming TV show 'The Kendall K. & Friends Show', scheduled for 2022. It's unclear if she finished filming for that or not. 

Tributes have now begun to pour in for Hale, as many who grew up watching 'The Mickey Mouse Club' show mourned her loss. One user tweeted, "More sad news for 2021. Tiffini Hale was a huge role model to me during the 90s. "I'm trying to be that woman, the independent lady who depends on no one.” You taught a lot of us, Tiff. RIP." Another said, "When I was a teenager, someone I truly admired was @ThePartyIsNow's Tiffini Hale. I wanted to dance like her, dress like her, BE her. It breaks my heart that she's gone now NOT fair. Such a talented young woman deserved more. You'll always be the best dancer for me, Tiffini." One person said, "How could you not smile when Tiffini Hale appeared on screen during The All New Mickey Mouse Club? The world was a better place because of what she brought to it & now we wish her peace. Strength and comfort to her family, friends, & all those whose lives were touched."
