Randall Pearson (Sterling K Brown) has so many dynamics on 'This Is Us'. The best, however, is his bond with his daughters. Not just his little girls, Randall has built a great relationship with Deja Andrews' (Lyric Ross) boyfriend too! Now, in a new sneak peek, Malik Hodges (Asante Blackk) comes into the Pearson family with a huge role at his hand. The two-minute video clip begins with a regular breakfast as the girls sit at the dining table.

Enter Randall with his cheesy dad jokes. Confused between solid or striped ties, he asks for Beth's (Susan Kelechi Watson) help. "It's very cute you want to look good for your protégé," Beth cleverly comments. Defending himself, Randall remarks, "I'll think of him as my apprentice." It's clear the two are talking about Malik! Randall goes to Deja and jokes Malik has decided to shadow with a person "whose name rhymes with Gandall Gearson!"

Deja, however, snaps back, "It's a civic assignment and you're the only city councilman in these Covid times." But Randall is not ready to let go. He teases her again. "Your father and your boyfriend spending the entire day together. What could go wrong?" Malik enters and while he is six minutes late, his suited-booted look does impress everyone around. Deja gives him a piece of advice: "Don't talk about us, don't talk about me, don't talk about you... Actually just don't talk at all."

Randall hurries to work, saying, "Okay, we are now exactly seven minutes late," adding, "Seven minutes of problems that don't get solved because you were late."

Titled ‘Honestly’, the summary also sheds light on their meeting and reads: “Malik shadows Randall at work. Kevin struggles to connect with his new movie director. Jack and Rebecca struggle to sleep train their babies.” It seems like something huge is about to happen between Randall and Malik... what could it be? Before the episode, Sterling K Brown teased a huge hint: "The end of a bromance? Malik... #ThisIsUs."

Now, fans are worried. "Ah, man! I like Malik! Sure, he's not perfect. He loves Deja, though. Look. I know Randall's got a lot going on. We all just need to step back and calm down. You guys, there's a pandemic. Quit making me sad!!!!" one posted and another said, "WHAT? What happened? What did I miss? Do NOT do this to us! I cannot handle this." A third said, "Oops...what happened? Malik always seemed a bit self-conscious & uncomfortable around Randall." And a fourth remarked, "Listen. I don’t play ‘bout Malik! Y’all better not try me."

What is really going to happen? Will Randall and Malik have a fallout? Or will Randall forgive Malik for a huge mistake he makes? For now, fans can't stop rolling off the floor after hearing Randall's dad-jokes. "Dad jokes Randall is amazing 😂. And Annie is so cute!! She deserves more screentime!" one fan said and another posted, "Am I the only one who find Randall funny... Cause he cracks me up." A third said, "He always puts a smile on my face."

Knowing Randall, he cannot do anything that would make his daughter sad and it seems like he would definitely forgive Malik for whatever he does wrong. But, if you're wondering about the error that Malik could make, we will have to wait and watch.

The two-hour episode of ‘This Is Us’ premiered on Tuesday, October 27, at 9 pm ET on NBC. Following that, one-hour episodes will air weekly. Catch the fourth episode ‘Honestly’ once it drops on November 17, 2020, on NBC.
