The previous episode of 'This Is Us' will make you put your thinking caps on. There is one question on everyone's minds: Who was the woman sleeping next to Kevin Pearson (Justin Hartley)? While the storyline is suggesting it should be his first love, Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge), there is no real confirmation and much confusion.

In a 15-second promo for the new episode, a scene shows Kevin as he confesses, "For the first time in life, I don't feel like I have to run away from anything," and a montage of flashbacks plays from their childhood days. In another scene, Kevin can be heard saying, "I wasn't sure if I should come in," and Sophie tells him, "Get me out of here?" It will be intriguing to see what unfolds after that sequence.

Knowing how the family drama can stun viewers with plot twists, fans are pretty skeptical and can't stop looking for other hints.

"1st. we know that not gonna be together so why are you teasing us like they are? Kevin is probably gonna do something that he knows is the right thing and talk to Sophie about going back to her current fiance," one viewer posted.

Speculating what could transpire in the next episode, one viewer wrote, "Not to burst anyone's hopes, but... Knowing TIU narrative style, it's pretty obvious that the girl in bed is not going to be Sophie. It's going to be some random girl he met in Pittsburgh. In this episode, he will be there for Sophie in a way he was too selfish and too self-centered to be before. He will help her get through mom's funeral, which will undoubtedly remind him of his own grief 23 years ago."

However, many fans are also tired of watching Kevin's love stories going downhill.

"I'm team let Kevin be single for an entire season so he can grow as a person and not have his entire plot be focused on love," one comment read.

Another fan had a whole storyline planned from the future: "I feel like Sophie is the baby mama but in the flashforward, it seemed like Kevin is a single parent like he is raising him, so maybe Sophie died? It is, of course, hard to tell that from one scene when We got to see Kevin's son."

Titled 'I Gotta Go See About a Girl', the episode will air on NBC after a two-week break on February 11 at 8 pm ET.
