LONDON, UK: Rumor has it that Dua Lipa is dating Rita Ora's ex-boyfriend, filmmaker Romain Gavras. Last week, the singer, 27, and Romain, 41, were seen exiting Netflix's annual BAFTA Awards afterparty at the Chiltern Firehouse in London.

As they exited the event, Romain was seen following her, with some space between them as he pulled up the hood of his black top. After leaving the party, they were seen getting into a chauffeured car together, reports The Sun.

'[Dua] feels Romain totally gets it'

A source said, "Dua and Romain have been quietly getting to know each other for several months. They have been enjoying spending time together. The pair met each other’s close circles over the festive period and have lots in common. Dua knows how important it is to find someone who understands her industry. She feels Romain totally gets it. They’re both really creative people."

Rita and Romain dated for six months before their breakup was made public in March 2021. After weeks of rumors, it was revealed that the couple was no longer together and had split up before Christmas 2020. A spokesperson for Romain confirmed to Daily Mail, "Rita and Romain split up months ago because of difficulties with their respective work commitments. They remain close friends," the source added.

Dua Lipa's dating history

Meanwhile, Dua was last seen with 23-year-old model Anwar Hadid before the two split in late 2021. The ex-couple hadn't been seen together in six months, while Anwar was in New York City with his dog Dexter and Dua was recording music in London and Los Angeles. "Their relationship is going through a crisis and appears to be on the rocks," The Sun reported at the time.

Towards the end of 2022, rumors of the 'Levitating' singer dating talk show host Trevor Noah began to circulate. The 'One Kiss' singer was reportedly attracted to the comedian's "potential," a source told HollywoodLife at that time. "Things are very new for Dua and Trevor but she’s enjoying spending time with him," an insider reportedly said at that time, adding, "Dua has told friends that she had an amazing time hanging out with him and she thinks Trevor is very sweet. She definitely sees potential and thinks they have great chemistry with each other."

However, the source did not clarify if the relationship was serious or not. "They are not in a committed relationship and things are not serious between them at this point. She appreciates how open and honest he’s been with her just about things going on in his life, and what he’s looking for in a relationship," the insider reportedly added.
