SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: The girl group Momoland members currently consists of 6 members-- Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy. Momoland debuted on November 10, 2016, under MLD Entertainment. On 29th November 2019, MLD Entertainment announced that Yeojwoo and Taeha left the group following Daisy's departure in 2020. 

Rappers from the girl groups gather together to compete with their singing abilities, showcasing a completely different side of them, in the first episode of the idol survival program, 'The Second World', which went live on August 30th at 8:50 PM KST. JooE is one of the competitors who has joined the lineup. JooE gained fame and recognition after she was hired for several commercials because of her vibrant demeanor and adorable appearance. However, things took a turn when Momoland experienced numerous issues and speculations, and members left the organization.

JooE and the rest of the Momoland members cry as they open up about the group's difficulties 

Beginning with the controversy surrounding the termination of the contract with former member Daisy and continuing with the rumors surrounding member Yeonwoo, Momoland experienced challenging times that caused the remaining members to become anxious. The rest of the members of Momoland gathered to support JooE in her new journey and admitted their inner emotions in the August 30 episode of 'The Second World'.

Momoland's members expressed their hurt at the constant harsh criticism and rumors that passed around the group. JooE expressed her emotions by stating that in the older days of the group, it was natural to attract such attention, but now when she gets the attention it cause her to get anxious and think about what she did wrong for such attention. JooE continues “That nervousness is different."

Later, the members collectively agreed to JooE's statement and revealed how they have developed stage fright. Due to their anxiety, they're afraid to even stand on the stage to perform, all because of the constant barrage of criticism they were subjected to. Fans expressed their thoughts and trend #APOLOGIZETOMOMOLAND, while being upset with the netizens who criticized Momoland members. 

"Remember Momoland? This is how they're doing right now. All 6 remaining members after 3 left have stage anxiety and are scared to perform in front of crowds in fear of getting hated on and being unwanted. They don't deserve this."



 

Fans demand an apology for developing low self-esteem in Momoland members, "Momoland deserves a huge apology. An apology from their company, from K-pop fans, from everyone who set out to destroy them. They didn't deserve what happened to them from 2018-2019, so now they deserve an apology."
