'The World's Best' Season 1: Superbowl LIII set to boost talent show hailed as the 'Olympics of entertainment'
'American Idol' or 'Indian Idol', 'Britain's Got Talent' or 'America's Got Talent', it was high time we got a talent show bringing the world together as one, not defined by countries, nationalities or even language. Hence, CBS ordered a global talent show, and almost a year later, 'The World's Best' is slated to premiere on February 3 and run for 10 episodes.
Coming from the heavyweights of reality TV, Mark Burnett and Mike Darnell, the forces behind two of the biggest talent competition reality series namely 'The Voice' and 'American Idol' respectively, 'The World's Best' is described as a first-of-its-kind global talent competition featuring acts from every genre imaginable and from every corner of the world. The idea is to not only impress judges and experts but also break through the "wall of the world", comprising 50 experts, to be crowned 'The World's Best'.
