The Croatian model, Ivana Knoll, who attended Croatia's earlier group-stage matches in Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, slammed by neitzens for disrespecting the country laws and wearing daring outfits.

Sad,” one wrote. “What’s the use of being rich, businesswoman, so beautiful, sexy and so desperate for attention?” another added. “I don’t know why haven’t they kicked you. u are like insulting them in their country,” added another. It were just a few barbs fired at Knoll, but she blasted back, saying the locals embraced her much like the locals. “The locals confirmed to me that I can wear whatever I want,” Knoll told TMZ Sports.
She fought back the hate comments came on her by speaking out to her 1 million followers emphasizing that the local authorities were't critical about her dress choice. Knoll said, "I think how my dress or bikini can hurt someone? Please explain me that. But I didn’t know that my video in a bikini walking by the sea would be such a big deal. The whole country is speaking about it. Everybody knows me here, and I saw that I was accepted. I was never afraid to be arrested to be what I am, and I don’t think I can hurt someone wearing a bikini. And if that deserves to be arrested, then arrest me.”
"First I was thinking if the World Cup is happening there (Qatar), for sure they will allow us everything to make it comfortable for all fans without any of the restrictions," she added. "Then I heard about the rules and I was shocked. The dress code forbids showing shoulders, knees, belly and everything and I was like, Oh my God, I don't even have the clothes to cover all of that. I was super angry because if I'm not a Muslim and if we in Europe respect hijab and niqab, I think they need also to respect our way of life, our religion and in the end me wearing dresses, bikinis because I'm Catholic from Croatia who is here because of the World Cup," Knoll explained.
"But when I arrived I was surprised they were not making any problems about dressing, they allow you to wear everything what you want - except in government buildings, and in the end that's fine," she said. When asked if she felt that there was any risk of her being arrestedz Knoll took a firm stand and said "I am never afraid of something like that." However, according to arab strict laws, It is forbidden for women to enter the Arab country while sporting tight apparel or baring too much skin. It was suggested that WAGs wrap a scarf around their necks to conceal their busts.
