Update: Adding more fuel to the dating rumors, The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie were again papped at a fancy diner over the weekend on September 27 night. The rumored couple spent close to two and a half hours inside the private section of the luxurious family-run Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica. The Grammy-winning singer and Jolie complemented each other as they stepped outside in all black matching outfits. After their apparent date, the Hollywood star then hopped into the singer’s SUV as they left the venue together, as reported by Daily Mail.

Looks like LA is the current hot spot for new lovers as days after rapper Jack Harlow was in news for shooting his shot with Saweetie at BET Awards 2021, it is now A-listers Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd who are rumored to be dating each other after they were papped at a fancy restaurant in the city.

Page Six clicked the two exiting the celebrity hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles Wednesday (July 1) evening. Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd reportedly spent hours during their rumored dinner date at the high-end Italian eatery. The brand new pictures of the actress and the R&B singer soon set the Internet ablaze with speculations. The news comes after The Weeknd after is all set to act, co-write, and executive produce the newly-announced show ‘The Idol’ with ‘Euphoria’ creator Sam Levinson.

While Jolie looked smoldering hot in a trench coat over a sexy black dress The Weeknd kept it casual with denim and boots.  Though nothing is confirmed there is a possibility that the two met over a business meeting.  Speaking on the rumored date of the two, a source close to the Grammy-winning singer spilled the beans to Page Six saying, “They’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date]”  adding, “He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in.”  The two were spotted separately exiting the venue.

The Weeknd, né Abel Tesfaye, interestingly gave a shout-out to Jolie in his 2017 hit single ‘Party Monster’ from 'Starboy'. On the track, he sang, “Angelina, lips like Angelina/ Like Selena, a** shaped like Selena.” Jolie, who recently celebrated her 46th birthday, has reportedly been reconnecting with ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller whereas, if we talk about The Weeknd’s previous relationships, the multi-platinum crooner has been in two high-profile relationships earlier- one with singer Gomez and the other with supermodel Bella Hadid.  
 

‘We are all spiralling’

The stars nor their representatives have commented on this matter, nor confirmed if it was a simple business meet or if there was a romantic angle.  

Seeing the duo together came as a shocker to many social media users as they rushed to Twitter to speak on the same.  One elated user posted, “Angelina and The Weeknd!!!! Im here for it!!!!” Another user was stunned and said, “The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie? I’ve seen enough I would like to skip to 2022 please.”  One got a little irritated with the news and tweeted, “Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd dating rumour sounds so stupid wtf.”
 
The next one shared, “The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie Turn Heads With Rumored Date. Yall not ready for the songs.” Whereas, one trolled Jolie saying, “To think someone said Angelina Jolie is adopting The Weeknd.” Another user said, “Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd?? They better be working on a theme song for a new movie wtf.” Meanwhile, one noted, “I want to imagine that Angelina Jolie will co-produce and co-direct The Weeknd‘s new reality show? Cuz there is no way, they can be an item! She’s way too beau for Abel anyway!” Echoing similar sentiments, one user concluded, “The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie sparking romance is not what I expected 2021 to bring me in celebrity news. We all spiralling.”
