Episode 22 of ‘The Voice’ Season 21 proved to be one hell of a nail-biter after only eight of the top 10 contestants made it to the semi-finals. Three contestants namely Jeremy Rosado, Jershika Maple, and Holly Forbes landed in the bottom three. Jershika Maple was the lucky one to get the ‘instant save’ sending Jeremy and Holly back home.

The fans on social media got pissed asking how Jeremy Rosado from Team Kelly landed in the bottom three whereas, the trio Girl Named Tom easily made the cut. The trio consisting of three siblings was shown making it to the semi-finals earlier in the episode. For the unversed, the band also hails from Kelly Clarkson’s team. Jeremy Rosado, on the latest episode, had belted out his rendition of ‘What Hurts the Most’ by Rascal Flatts whereas, we only got to see some behind the footage of the Girl Named Tom.

Girl Named Tom enters Top 8, Jeremy Rosado ousted

Jeremy Rosado poured out his heart on the song ‘What Hurts the Most’ which unfortunately proved to be his last on the show. Blake Shelton, after his performance, said that he liked that Jeremy opted for a country song again. Blake acknowledged that it’s only the depth of talent this season that had landed him in the bottom three.

Jeremy’s mentor Kelly Clarkson too shared her valuable opinion on his performance while praising his song choice adding that it showed how dynamic he could be as a vocalist. Jeremy just before getting eliminated from the singing reality show spoke to Kelly from the stage saying that she changed her life for good. Speaking of the semi-finals, the top 8 will now perform in the second week of December.

‘America always disappoints’

The Internet did not hesitate at all to slam the trio Girl Named Tom entering the top 8 while Jeremy got eliminated. “Bottom 3 should’ve been The Allen’s, Lana, and Joshua.  I said it.  Holly, Jershika and Jeremy had no reason being down there tonight”, said one user as another posted, “Girl named tom and Jim and Sasha should not have gone through wtf.” One person tweeted, “I absolutely hate how girl named tom and lana made it to top 8. America always disappoints.”

The next one shared, “The Duo and Trio bands should’ve been eliminated this week. Girl named Tom are really good but, they’re a trio band. This show is called the voice right. Lana is a good singer to, but not a semi-finalist. Jim and Sasha why!!! They’re just average.” Another shared, “Jeremy, we haven’t heard the last of you! We all know u’re a STAR!!”  Meanwhile, one shocked user asserted, “How the actual f**k yall let Jeremy and Holly go home on the Voice. The two best vocalists ??? I’ll never forgive yall America.” One user said, “I’m starting to think the voice is as corrupt as the Biden administration.   No way did Jershika get more votes than both Holly & Jeremy, when she was the worst of the three,  all she did was scream her song, screaming is not talent.” And, another concluded, “#thevoice is so f**ked up it should be lana and joshua or girl named tom going home tonight.”
