Round three of ‘The Voice’ season 21 blind auditions aired on Monday, September 27 witnessed a lot of drama between the judges. While coaches Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, and John Legend bagged two new singers each on their team, the day proved to be a bit unlucky for coach Kelly Clarkson as she could get only one singer on her team.

The Florida native Jeremy Rosado picked Kelly Clarkson as his coach after the renowned singer turned her chair around the moment Jeremy started his performance. Jeremy Rosado, who was in the top 13 of ‘American Idol’ Season 11, is equally interested in acting and enjoys a decent fan following on social media platforms. The singer gave a smooth R&B twist to Rascal Flatts' country number ‘Here Comes Goodbye’ in order to nail his blind audition. Ariana Grande and John Legend seemed less impressed as they did not turn around at all. Blake Shelton, on the other hand, gave ample thought before pressing the red buzzer right before Jeremy’s performance ended.

Jeremy Rosado opts for Team Kelly over Team Blake

Jeremy Rosado enjoys more than 10K followers on Instagram and close to 20K on Twitter and is also active on TikTok. The versatile singer shared that his music career came to a halt after he became his niece Jocelyn’s legal guardian at the age of 22. He added that he could now finally focus on his singing and acting career after his niece graduated from college.

Circling back to his performance, the talented singer-songwriter might have scored only two chairs but that did not disappoint the viewers as an interesting drama unfolded between Kelly, Ariana, and Blake Shelton. While Kelly Clarkson, who won the first season of ‘American Idol’, placed her points on the table, she also got a rare shoutout from Ariana Grande which did not go down well with Blake Shelton. The country music icon then made sure he teased Ariana throughout the episode. After clearing his head, Jeremy ultimately went for Team Kelly becoming the only team member for her in the third round.  Jeremy later took to Twitter to share a thanking note, “Words fail me! But thank YOU! Cant believe I am on #TeamKelly @NBCTheVoice”.

“I can't believe Ariana just did that. That's a slap in the face," said Blake Shelton while speaking to the cameras after Jeremy’s performance. "The friendship is over”, he added. Kelly, on the other hand, celebrated while thanking Ariana, “That was sisters before misters right there. That's what I'm talking about."  While sitting for a backstage interview, Ariana told the cameras, “I know Blake is mad at me, but I knew he wasn't my ally. He thinks I don't see right through him, but I do." Blake then interrupted her testimony jokingly saying, “You stabbed me in the back. I was right there on the edge of the cliff, and you pushed me off.”
