And we have a winner!

'The Voice' Season 17 revealed its title winner and it's none other than Jake Hoot from Team Kelly. From being a one-chair-turn contestant, Jake has come a long way this season and has successfully emerged as the winner after he received the highest number of votes from America.

Following the three-hour event that started off with a recap of Monday night's performance, and a slew of guest performances that included Dua Lipa, Lady Antebellum, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, the Black Eyed Peas, Luke Combs and former Season 16 winner Maelyn Jarmon, the series went on to reveal its winner.

Coming in fourth was Rose Short from Team Gwen, in third was Katie Kadan from Team Legend, Ricky Duran from Team Blake was the runner-up, and winning the season was Jake Hoot from Team Kelly. This is Kelly Clarkson's third time winning the competition as coach on the series.

Jake has always been a frontrunner with him being the most-streamed artist for quite a few weeks during the live shows. He was the only country singer in the finale who and who was not on Blake Shelton's team. Though it was a much-deserved win, as all four contestants were equally unique in their own way, fans are having mixed reactions.

Taking to Twitter, some fans shared their disappointment with the series crowning Jake Hoot as the winner, while some are glad that he did win. "Wow! I'm so excited for @jakehootmusic for winning the Voice! Congratulations Jake!!! I'm so happy for you and you truly deserve it! Go Hoot!!! #TheVoice #jakehootmusic #Hooters #TeamKelly #VoiceFinale #NBCTHEVOICE," a fan wrote.

Adding to that, another said, "Way to go Jake Hoot! Congratulations!AMERICA QUIT COMPLAINING! You want to change the outcome? Then go to Apple iTunes and stream the contestants you want to win Jake Hoot has been leading in streaming for 3 weeks straight! #TheVoice."

"Every season, I watch #TheVoice expecting a different outcome, and it seems like every season the Country singer wins. Jake Hoot is good, no doubt. Rose, Katie, and Ricky were better," a fan wrote. Another added, "honestly @KatieKadan @IamRoseShort and @IamRickyDuran are ALL more talented and unique than jake hoot but i guess america loves mediocre country artists.... (i mean, the guest performers even featured 3 country acts) #TheVoice #VoiceFinale."
