'The Voice' season 17 returned on Monday night and it's the semifinals. This week the Top 8 contestants will each be performing two songs and it's all about the 80s.

The three contestants who receive the most votes will directly move on to next week's finale, while the two contestants with the least votes will be eliminated immediately, and the remaining three contestants will get a chance to perform in the Instant Save for the last spot in the finale.

The coaches, Blake Shelton, John Legend, Gwen Stefani and Kelly Clarkson returned to their seats on Monday night, while the Top 8 took to the stage hoping for a chance to make it to the finals.

The first contestant to perform and kick off the night was Katie Kadan from Team Legend. John Legend's team is the only team that's still performing well consistently. Katie is one of the frontrunners this season, who has a high chance of making it to the finals.

John chose Lady Marmalade by Pattie LaBelle for Katie to perform, so if she makes it to the finals she can perform a powerful ballad.  Performing her rendition of Lady Marmalade, Katie definitely did deliver. Her powerful vocals help her pull it off with ease.

Post her performance John claimed that the season doesn't even deserve her because of how good she is. The other coaches couldn't help but gush at the contestant's performance.

Taking to Twitter post the performance, fans of Katie raved about her performance and how she deserves to be the winner this season.

"Let me be crystal fu**ing clear.. Katie Kadan is the winner of the Voice this year, and everyone who disagrees can line up to be catapulted over that wall Trump builds after he wins in 2020 #thevoice@chrisdcomedy @yannispappas," wrote a fan. Adding to that another fan said, "KATIE!!! #TheVoice. I would walk 10,000 miles to see you in concert! You've got my 10 votes every week!"

"Queen Katie!! That performance was so amazing and fun. I agree with Kelly, I was dancing with the music!! #TheVoice," shared a fan. While another wrote, "@KatieKadan OH MY LORD HAVE MERCY!!! Katie you just performed my favorite song of all time!! AND YOU KILLED IT!!! #TheVoice #LadyMarmalade #GetItGirl."
