A good song choice is as important as great vocals in order to succeed on 'The Voice'. Team Ariana's Bella Denapoli seems to have learned this lesson the hard way. The young performer left Ariana Grande and the fans awestruck with her impressive performance during the blind auditions and the battles round. But Bella's song choices since her knockouts round performance haven't been in her favor. Despite that Bella managed to make it to the top 20.

She picked Gwen Stefani's 'Sweet Escape', which wasn't received well by the fans. So, it came as no surprise when she failed to garner enough votes from the audience to secure her spot on the top 13 list. Ariana decided to give Bella another chance as she chose her over Raquel Trinidad to compete in the instant save round. Bella once again goofed up by choosing Christina Aguilera's 'Ain't No Other Man'. While there's no denying that her vocals were beautiful unfortunately they didn't do justice to the song she chose.

Several fans expressed their displeasure with Bella's song choice on the show's YouTube page. A fan commented, "Bella was a frontrunner, but she declined drastically ever since Knockout rounds because of her song choices, can't blame the people not voting for her. It's sad because I was rooting for her, but song choices are ALWAYS important, period!" Another fan wrote, "There's no denying it. Bella has what it takes to be the Voice—vocal range, runs, control. The song choices made her go downhill. It's just sad." "This is a prove that song choice is important. She would've remained till final if she sticks to her style as in the blinds, battle....hmm," expressed a fan.

Another fan pointed out, "Why is she picking the wrong songs 😭Her audition and battle songs were on a whole 'nother level." "These were awful song choices. She has a very pure sounding voice singing a Christina Aguilera song. What happened to her high piercing notes from Damaged and Enough is Enough, it's like she smoked 70 cigarettes and called it a day," added a fan. "She had everything to win this show… but man these song choices…" observed a fan.

'The Voice' Season 21 airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
