LONDON, ENGLAND: ‘The Voice’ presenter Emma Willis, 47, recently shared some throwback pictures from her pregnancy days while candidly talking about what gives her confidence. The ‘Big Brother’ star, who is married to Matt Willis, shares three children with him - 13-year-old Isabelle, six-year-old Trixie, and 11-year-old Ace.

The mother of three has recently collaborated with Absolute Collagen for their ‘Strong In Your Own Skin’ campaign where she shared throwback pictures of her proudly rocking black bras and heavily pregnant stomachs. The beaming mother says, “I think [having children] is the most empowering thing that I’ve ever done”.

Talking about how beautiful it felt becoming a mother, she said, “It’s something that fills you with dread and worry while it’s happening, but when you look back at what your body has done and what it creates, it just absolutely blows me away.”

While cladding a yellow sweater and being comfortable on the couch, she highlighted how she lacked self-confidence in her childhood in the video made for Absolute Collagen, “I most definitely had lack of confidence as a child: I was really, really shy…I think because of that, and because I sometimes have a lack of self-confidence as a grown up as well”.

However, the celebrity mother wants her children to feel differently as she wants them to be comfortable in their own skin, “I really try to instil in my kids to lean into their fears and to embrace life as much as they can and to believe they can achieve whatever they want to achieve”.

'Who do I think I am?'

Advocating for Yoga and Pilates, and how they helped her, the BBC presenter posed in a blue set of sports bra and leggings saying that they help her “stay in tune with her body”.

She also shared how she is continuously working to make it better, “There are many times in my life when I have not felt strong, but as I am maturing, I am really consciously trying to change that narrative within myself”.

She also talks about self-motivation and how it helps her in moving, “Even when I don’t feel strong and I think, “I can’t do this, who do I think I am?”, just by telling myself I can, even if I don’t quite believe it at that point, it pushes me forward to keep trying”.

‘If I can raise a human being, I can f****ng do this!’

This is, however, not the first time that spoke up about how being a mother is slowly making her confident. In an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2014, she said,”I felt I’d got into TV by a fluke because I’d been a model: I looked alright and could string a sentence together. I never believed they were 100% behind me for my ability as a presenter. I lacked self-belief until I started doing Big Brother’s Little Brother”, before adding, “Things started to go really well for me as soon as I had kids. Sometimes, interviewing people, I would feel so intimidated and nervous. But when you’ve had kids it gives you confidence – you think, ‘I’m a mum. I’m not scared. If I can raise a human being, I can fucking do this!’”

In 2016, in an interview with Mirror, she opened up about being out of shape after the birth of her third baby, “I’m NOT in shape! Not for me. On TV I’ve been wearing Spanx to hold it all in, so I don’t feel self-conscious about bulges. People say, ‘She looks fantastic,’ but I don’t look like that without any clothes on! I’m bigger than I’ve ever been, and – this is not a lie – I am covered in cellulite. But I have three kids and I’m not going to beat myself up about it”

In 2018, she told Sunday in an interview, "Being able to grow a child is just the best thing in the world, she's worth all the sagging and lumps and bumps,” reports the blog Made For Mums.
