UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: When it comes to pairing his team members for battles round, 'The Voice' coach John Legend always makes it a point to make things extremely complicated for himself and the audience by pitting two vocal powerhouses against each other! The recently aired episode of 'The Voice' Season 22 featured the tail end of the battles round, and representing Team Legend was none other than his body-double David Andrew and Kim Cruse.

John picked GIVĒON's 'Heartbreak Anniversary' as the battles song, and roped in Jazmine Sullivan as the battle advisor to help him coach his team members. Jazmine and John were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful David and Kim sounded together during the rehearsals. After rehearsing for countless hours, David and Kim finally stepped onto the stage to deliver their final performance before the coaches and the studio audience. The coaches were lost for words by the time the duo was done with their performance. Blake Shelton praised both singers but picked Kim as his winner. Camila Cabello too echoed Blake's thoughts by calling Kim a vocal dragon for her impeccable vocals.
