The journey of Jim and Sasha Allen from Team Ariana ended in Season 21 of ‘The Voice’ as they failed to make it to the finale. Episode 24 of the singing reality show saw three singers getting eliminated as Joshua Vacanti, Jim and Sasha, Lana Scott and Jershika Maple landed in the bottom four. Wendy Moten, the trio called Girl Named Tom, and Paris Winningham were one of the early contestants to reserve their seats in the Top 5.

Jim and Sasha, who faced a lot of flak from the Internet throughout their journey on the show, were the only remaining members on Ariana Grande’s team. This was Ariana’s very first season as a coach and sadly none of her team members could make it to the finale. Social media users again spewed venom as they were glad that the father and son duo finally left the show. Ariana, on the other hand, expressed her emotions in a detailed Twitter thread minutes after she was ousted from the finale race.

‘It is a season wrap for team Ariana’

Taking it to Twitter, Ariana shared an emotional post writing, “It is a season wrap for team ariana ! i AM BURSTING with pride for jim and sasha and all of everyone from #teamariana …. to have met & worked with such brilliant artists is the greatest gift and honor of all of this. i can’t believe there wasn’t a time i didn’t know you all.” She continued the thread, “It’s truly just the beginning for all of these brilliant humans. i’ll be here always. thank you for enriching my life in ways I can’t even attempt to articulate. your presence and this whole experience has brought so much joy and fulfillment creatively and personally.”

The pop queen concluded, “Tonight we celebrate !!! you and your brilliance and hard work. not one moment of this has been easy on any of you mentally, physically, vocally. here’s to a gorgeous new chapter for you all. thank you for changing my life for the better.” Speaking of the instant save, Jershika Maple from Team Legend got lucky as America saved her from going home.

‘Surprised that Ariana’s millions of fans didn’t come thru’

Social media users were quick to react to Jim and Sasha exiting the show leaving Ariana Grande with no signers in her team. “Lana and jim and sasha went home finally iktr”, said one user as another chimed-in, “I didn’t even watch tonight but i’m so GLAD jim and sasha are gone it was about time.” One user stated, “Jim and Sasha are good singers but they failed to show their worth in time to be in the finals/instantly saved. they showed 0 changes and kept the same type of singing and only decided to switch it up when it was too late.” One user tweeted, “Jim and Sasha are gone.Raising hands Sasha was just getting more and more arrogant with each passing week. He needed some humbling. Lol.”

The next one said, “Only reason why jim and sasha got that far is bc he used twitter to get aris fans to like pretty smart if u ask me.”  One added, “Jim and Sasha and Lana finally went home. Good luck to them on their careers but it was WAY long over due whew.” One took a dig at Ariana saying, “In her team there was a lot of persons that had the power to get the finale, but she just was influenced for the friendship instead for the real talent and competition.”  One individual asserted, “Ariana eliminated from the finale cus of her lack luster choices while hailey mia, an ex ariana team member, is in the finale. karma had it’s KISS.” Echoing similar sentiments, one concluded, “I understand why they went home, but I’m surprised that Ariana’s millions of fans didn’t come thru.”
