While Joshua Vacanti managed to turn his haters into his fans, it looks like Jim and Sasha Allen from ‘The Voice’ season 21 might still have to work a lot harder on their performances as their latest one on episode 19 did not go down well with the social media users.  The new episode of the singing reality show was aired on Monday, November 22, and saw top 11 contestants fighting for the top 10 spots on songs chosen by their fans.

The father and son duo from Team Ariana was again brutally dragged on Twitter after they sang their rendition of ‘Have You Ever Seen the Rain?’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Before hitting the stage, the duo shared that they always wanted to perform on this song. Speaking on the same, their mentor Ariana said to take it as a sign from their fans and followers as they really understood the type of artists the duo wanted to be.

Jim and Sasha Allen serenade judges with soulful performance

Jim and Sasha Allen are known for their low-key performances and continuing the ritual, the duo belted out their latest rendition. While showering praises on the duo, Blake Shelton said they sounded incredible and their bond as father and son was incredible to watch. Ariana Grande and Blake Shelton also joked about how many instruments could Jim play but added the father and son duo was one of the most talented artists of this season.

Speaking of the top 10, the next episode will see one contestant heading back home out of top 11 no matter on what team they are.  Currently, the top 11 contestants include, Wendy Moten, Girl Named Tom, Holly Forbes, Jershika Maple, Lana Scott, Joshua Vacanti, Jeremy Rosado, Gymani, Jim & Sasha Allen, Paris Winningham and Hailey Mia.

‘Sorry but it's time for Jim & Sasha to pack up’

While slamming the duo, one user said, “This was the worst singing of the night.  You could have pulled someone from the audience who sings better.” Another said, “Unfortunately their “A-“ game still doesn’t measure up to any of the other Top 11. So how tf do they keep getting voted through.” One user got irritated and asked, “Why are they even still on the show?”  The next one shared, “Rewatching, I think Sasha needs to work on his stage presence cause all this skipping, hopping, and moving around never matches with the mood of the song and makes their performances look super awkward. I think people love their story and not really their voices.”

One person tweeted, “I think this may be Jim & Sasha’s last week. There ok, but these other vocalists are way outta their league.” Meanwhile, another added, “Sorry but it's time for Jim & Sasha to pack up.” And, one concluded, “Starting to think I have different ears from the rest of you guys. Jim and Sasha sounded bland and no different from every performance they have every given. and you guys are saying this is the best they ever performed?”
