LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Umbrella Academy' has become one of the best superhero TV shows that could rival even Marvel or DC. The Netflix series follows the Hargreeves family and their adventures, or misadventures as they try to save the world. Sir Reginald Hargreeves, an eccentric billionaire, adopts five children with extraordinary superpowers and trains them. He addresses them by a number. The children name themselves Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Ben and Vanya much later. Klaus (Robert Sheehan), a fan-favourite, has the power of communicating with the dead. His powers, which seem pointless at the beginning, grow as the seasons progress.

'The Umbrella Academy' Season 3 Ending Explained: Did Hargreeves siblings lose all their powers?
1. Being Five's father (Season 1 Episode 2, 'Run Boy Run')
Though this is one of the formative episodes of the series, Klaus has managed to mark his presence in the series with one particular scene in 'Run Boy Run', where we get to understand his character. During the season, Klaus is seen as a drunk as the alcohol helps to suppress his powers. When the entire family gathers for Reginald's funeral, Five, who is stuck in his teenage self, asks Klaus to accompany him to find the owner of the glass eye, which was the only clue to stop the apocalypse. What is intended as a serious quest turns into something hilarious when Klaus offers to pretend to be Five's father to get information. However, things go sideways and Klaus ends up terrifying the man in the facility. The scene shows both his love for his family and his humor perfectly.
2. Unleashing Ben onto himself (Season 1 Episode 10, 'The White Violin')
This is probably one of the most unexpected and iconic moments from the entire series. During the dramatic battle at the theatre, when the rest of the Hargreeves looked like they were nothing compared to Vanya's powers, Klaus overcame his fear and started using his powers. He was seen as the one with the useless power up to this point. He had been traumatized by the ghost of their brother Ben, who died as a child during one of their missions. During this episode, Klaus overcame his paranoia and harnessed Ben's powers using his body. What followed was a fight that helped the group gain an edge. This also marked the beginning of the bond between Ben and Klaus.
3. Dance party with sisters (Season 2 Episode 6, 'Valhalla')
After the HArgreeves siblings reunited following their seperate storylines, another iconic Klaus moment happened in 'The Umbrella Academy'. The siblings were separated at the end of Season 1, each sent to a different time in the '60s. When the siblings were finally united in Dallas, Texas, Allison, Vanya and Klaus get to spend some time with each other. The trio went to Allison’s hair salon and chatted, drank, relaxed, listened to music and danced like it was a girls' night. This is one of the most loveable moments of Klaus, even though it was short-lived. The three of them behaved like true siblings and showed their love for each other.
4. Searching for his mother (Season 3 Episode 2, 'World's Biggest Ball of Twine')
Season 3 of 'The Umbrella Academy' is the one where we got to spend even more time with Klaus. During this episode, Klaus is set to search for his birth mother and asks Five to accompany him, a full-circle moment between the brothers from Season 1. The brothers embark on a road trip during which we were able to see a vulnerable Klaus. He finally finds his birth mother, an Amish woman. Though the brothers were thrown out of the place quickly, this moment gave some information about Klaus' past.
5. Accessing his full potential (Season 3 Episode 7, 'Auf Wiedersehen')
Throughout the course of the series, we were able to see Klaus' full potential and the limits of his powers. However, in Season 3, Kalus is able to take things up by more than a notch with his father's help. This was the first time he learnt that his ability was more than conversing with the dead. He found out that he was immortal and could re-awaken himself if he died. He finally comes to terms with his powers and accepts them. The training montage is sure one of the top Klaus moments from the series.
The first three seasons of 'The Umbrella Academy' are currently available to stream on Netflix.
