What is the plot of 'The Spiderwick Chronicles'?
'The Spiderwick Chronicles' is a children's fantasy series, following the adventures of the Grace family: Helen and her kids, Jared, Simon, and Mallory.
They move from New York to their ancestral home, Spiderwick, in Michigan. Jared, the youngest at 15, discovers magical creatures are real when he meets a boggart. Their great-aunt Lucinda asks Jared to find her father's field guide to magical creatures.
They must protect it from the murderous ogre, Mulgarath.
The official synopsis reads, "Follows the Grace family as they move from Brooklyn, New York, to their ancestral home in Henson, Michigan, the Spiderwick Estate."

Lyon Daniels, an American actor, stars in the upcoming Roku series 'The Spiderwick Chronicles' (2024) as the lead character. He's also known for his roles in the Netflix film 'We Can Be Heroes' (2020) and the Amazon Prime series 'Patriot' (2015).
