'The Plot Against America' finale is here and it is going to be quite intense. The promo of episode 6 was released and one of the biggest plot points that have been revealed is how the Levin family has now been locked in the USA. While Bess (Zoe Kazan) has in previous episodes tried to explain how Canada was the only option for their family to be safe now, her husband Herman (Morgan Spector) hadn't paid her advice any attention. However, now it seems that he wants to go to Canada. Bess, however, points out that the borders are closed. Now his family has no escape route and all that can be done is to ride this out.

The official synopsis of the episode is, "The familial ties in the Levin family reach a breaking point as violence, conspiracies, and chaos run rampant in the lead up to Election Day." The family ties that are spoken about here are possibly between Sandy (Caleb Malis) and his family and in turn, Sandy and his aunt Evelyn Finkel (Winona Ryder). A hint of this was also revealed in the promo of the finale. We see Sandy speak to his aunt about how he had assumed that supporting Lindbergh would be good for Jews, his family and him but the events that are occurring in the country don't prove that.

The promo also hints at antisemite attacks becoming rampant in Ohio and Connecticut, and the still of a Ku Klux Klan member indicates that this could be the work of the fascist group that works primarily in these parts of the country. Despite seeing all of this unraveling, Evelyn doesn't seem fazed and it seems that her support for Lindbergh is still intact. Rabbi Lionel (John Turturro) too seems to ignore all the attacks that have broken out around the country and is currently concentrating on the fake attack riot that broke out during the radio newscaster's first public address to the nation.

A scene of Herman trying to get to knock some sense into the rabbi was also a part of the promo and makes us wonder if he would be successful. The official synopsis also mentioned an election and this makes us wonder if the finale would see the downfall of the Lindbergh administration or if it will see the Levin family get destroyed at the hands of fascists.

However, one of the things that the promo did not address is how Alvin's life will pan out in the face of all of the recent developments. He has been harassed by the FBI for fighting with the Canadians against Germany and in the previous episode, Rabbi Lionel had also mentioned that one of the reasons Herman's family was picked for Homestead was to mollify the FBI after what Alvin had done. In the promo, it looks like the FBI is trying to convince Alvin to do something but would it be in favor of Lindbergh? If it was, we would have to see how Alvin takes up this offer.

'The Plot Against America' will air on HBO on Mondays at 9 pm ET.
