BERN, SWITZERLAND: Coco Chanel's (Juliette Binoche) fortunes take a downturn in Apple TV+'s biographical drama 'The New Look'.

Since its debut on February 14, the esteemed fashion designer has faced a series of setbacks in the Apple TV+ series 'The New Look.' The loss of her friend Elsa Lombardi (Emily Mortimer), has only intensified her miseries.

In the final episode, the central issue arises whether she will reveal her Nazi collaboration or manage to keep it hidden from her nephew

Following Elsa's tragic death, Coco is seen grieving deeply and feeling more isolated than ever. Nothing seems to be going her way, and she is on the verge of collapse.

Moreover, Coco is uncertain about how to deal with Hans von Dincklage (Claes Bang), who is closely monitoring her every move like a hawk.

However, it's undeniable that Coco's actions have played a significant role in her current unfortunate circumstances. She knowingly made decisions that have led to her troubles.

Coco goes to great lengths to hide her Nazi connections from her nephew André, who harbors deep suspicions about her. He struggles to comprehend why Coco refuses to defend Baron Vaufreland (Christopher Buchholz) when he is being tried because of his German affiliation.

However, things take a drastic turn when Dincklage, unable to control himself any longer, storms into Coco's room, eventually revealing his true nature to André by assaulting him.

He coerces her into revealing the truth to André by threatening to cause him further harm.

Coco, who had been dreading the day she would have to tell André the truth about her questionable German connections, finally came to terms with the situation and disclosed the truth to him.

Dincklage keeps revealing her associations with the Germans, ultimately compelling her to come clean and tell André the truth.

She attempts to justify her decision to collaborate with the Germans, but the dilemma arises when André begins to feel responsible for the entire situation.

Since Coco loved her nephew deeply and believed that it all began when she tried to free him from German custody, the devastated André abandons her, expressing his inability to remain in her presence, and leaves for Paris. This leaves Coco feeling even more sad and isolated.

That being said, Coco's desire for control doesn't excuse her avarice when she takes the initiative to seek German cooperation in an attempt to gain complete control of her company.

In the end, it was inevitable since, in all cases, the truth always wins out.

'The New Look' is now streaming on Apple TV+.
