Fortune Teller clues

Fortune Teller was the second performer on the 'TV Theme Night' episode. The star dressed in a green dress awed everyone with his performance of one of 'The Jeffersons' songs. The star claimed that he chose Jeffersons' song because, "being a short guy and moving up to the east side of New York, George Jefferson made me want to become a shark". The first clue that FOX revealed, way before his performance, about this masked singer, was an "hourglass". Moreover, his introduction explained he grew up in Queens. While at an early age, he dreamed of becoming a singer. But, not having the best voice, which was completely seen in the performance, he failed to pursue a career as a singer. Therefore, he landed up becoming a dancer. Later, he got beaten out by Jermaine Dupri.

John revealed in his introduction clues that he was supported by his mother. And, that led him to succeed in the industry. The star claimed, "Soon everyone wanted a dash of me in their music video". Later, he got an offer from 'Keeping up With the Kardashian'. Apart from these clues, other visual hints provided were - hitting the jackpot on a spinning wheel, a business card, a clothing line, an angel in a briefcase, and brownstone apartments. These clues immediately narrowed down the guesses and pointed toward someone who is a businessman as well as a TV personality.

The Fortune Teller managed to succeed in the competition and succeed over the Mummies. He was then moved to the 'Battle Royale' round with Harp. There, they together sang 'Everywhere You Look'. And, Fortune Teller proved that he was saying the truth when he said he couldn't sing. And, clearly, Fortune Teller lost the battle and was unmasked. Before his mask was taken off, panelists made their guesses to be whether Damon Dash, Ray J, or Daymond John. And, Ken was right, the celebrity singer under the Fortune Teller mask was John. After the unmasking, Cannon claimed that he also guessed right about who was underneath the Fortune Teller mask just by seeing the walk of the star. Well, this was indeed an interesting unmasking.

'The Masked Singer' Season 6 airs every Wednesday at 8/7c on FOX.
