Fox will be introducing a group in 'The Masked Singer' Season 8's upcoming episode. Debuting under the name of "The Mummies Mask", this group comprises of three singers. The trio, dressed as mummies, are all set to wow audiences with their vocal stylings.
With the upcoming Episode 3, fans wonder who is underneath the much-talked masks of the Mummies. Dressed in a golden attire, the trio's masks are lashed with red and blue jewelry. Moreover, their eyes stand out for giving them a dead look. In the released introductory clip of the Mummies mask, one among the trio is seen standing in middle, giving the hint of that he is the lead singer as the other two stand behind him. Pulling off their 'deadly' look, the Mummies gave three hints. They are a group of three singers. The hint "Ka Statue" means the resting place for the dead ones. Well, this could lead us to guess the trio at some point have sung a famous song related to funeral or death. The mummies could also be a hint at someone's departure or 'death' in the group that caused the group to perform as a trio. The costume casts creepy yet cool vibes. Moreover, the Egyptian touch could also be a hint, pointing toward either the singer's song or video.
Is Boyz II Men under the Mummies' Masks?
Boyz II Men was initially a group of four singers. But, due to back spasms, Michael McCary had to leave the group. And, ever since 2003, it became a group of three. This could be connected to the clue of "Ka Statue", for how one of the members' career with the group 'died'. Moreover, another clue that connects the Mummies to be Boyz II Men is the trio's song 'One Sweet Day'. The bittersweet lyrics of this song became most famous and popular choices for funerals. Furthermore, if you see the standing position and stature of Boyz men and that of the Mummies, you will notice a lot of similarities. The two singers, Nathan Morris and Wanya Morris, stand behind the lead, Shawn Stockman. They also have strongly built bodies like that of the two Mummies standing behind the lead.
