Clues for The Queen Cobra
Queen Cobra's cluemercial kicks off with her trying to catch a thief trying to run away with a bag of stolen money in a dark alleyway with a trash can featuring a rocket ship on it. We are suddenly greeted by two queen cobras. The queen cobra then drinks her special espresso called 'Reptile Roast' from a coffee mug with the Batman logo on it. She claims that her signature drink has been boosting her energy since 1990. The clue package also featured a framed picture of Bradley Cooper.
The mega clue featured a red heart that says 'B. Mine' on it. The Queen Cobra can be heard saying, "If you’re a baddie that’s always on the run, or a goodie that’s ruining the fun… when you need some fuel for your epic nights. Or a boost for those action-packed fights. The best thing to wake baddies up is Reptile Roast, in your cup. It’s the perfect blend for any adventure. Espresso yourself with Reptile Roast, turning goodies bad since 1990." She also got a shout-out from her 'celeb BFF' Holly Robinson Peete, who says America will be “hypnotized” by their vocals.
While these clues may appear very random or confusing, the smart fans of 'The Masked Singer' managed to not only decode each of them but also tie them up to En Vogue and Cindy Heron.
Are En Vogue the Queen Cobras?
Based on the cluemercial and their vocals during the performance, it does seem like the famous R&B girl band En Vogue might be behind the Queen Cobras. While only two or three Cobras sang, it is to be noted that there were a total of six cobras on stage. Fans of En Vogue may remember that the group has had six members since its inception. The year 1990 which is featured in the clue package could be hinting at the group's first album 'Born to Sing' which was released in 1990.
The group later went on to release their wildly popular theme song for the hit show 'Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper' which explains the Bradley Cooper photo in the cluemercial. the famous girl band had a brief cameo on 'Batman Forever', which made its way to the clue package through the Batman-themed coffee mug. The coffee cluemercial theme could also be a nod to their last album 'Electric Cafe', while the burglar chasing segment could be a homage to their first EP 'Runaway Love'. The rocket ship could be a reference to the group's hit single which made it to the top 10 on the Billboard R&B chart.
Fans too are convinced that it's the members of En Vogue behind the Queen Cobras costumes. A fan tweeted, "Thats Cindy, Terry and Rhona = En Vogue! For sure. #queencobramask #TheMaskedSinger." "Its En Vogue billion % #TheMaskedSinger," wrote a fan. "Queen Cobra is definitely Cindy, Terry, and Rhona of En Vogue! @EnVogueMusic #TheMaskedSinger," added a fan.

While all the clues do point at En Vogue possibly being the Queen Cobra, we will have to wait until the unmasking to see whether it is indeed her or not. We can't wait to see who is hiding underneath the Queen Cobra(s) mask, but until then we'll be looking for more clues that might confirm our guesses.
'The Masked Singer' Season 7 airs every Wednesday at 8/7c on FOX.
