Former Chicago Bulls head coach Phil Jackson was responsible for coaching the Bulls to six championships during his 1987-1998 stint, winning three straight championships over separate three-year periods. This epic "three-peat" was the first since the Boston Celtics won eight titles in a row from 1959 through 1966. Fans were lavish in their praise for Jackson, while also slamming the team manager, Jerry Krause, for his ill-timed decisions, which were shown as part of ESPN's 10-part docuseries, 'The Last Dance'.

"MJ being a ride or die for Phil Jackson. Love it," tweeted a fan. "We’re less than 30 minutes in, and we’ve seen Jordan, Ewing, David Stern, Phil Jackson, Roy Williams, Bob Costas, James Worthy, Billy Packer, and also Michael Jordan. Holy shit this is awesome," wrote a fan.

"Phil Jackson really needed this doc to remind people he was the best coach of all time and not the dumbass running the Knicks," exclaimed another.

"Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Steve Kerr, Ron Harper, Toni Kukoč, & Phil Jackson on the same roster and winning five chips in seven years* No one: Absolutely no one: Literally no one ever: Jerry Krause: Welp, time to rebuild," was one of those sarcasm-dripping tweets. "How the fuck do you tell Phil Jackson this is your lat season idc if you win 82 games or not this mfr needs to sell the team and leave the city @chicagobulls #TheLastDance" asked a fan.

"I've been awaiting one of the most anticipated documentaries of the year and naturally, made a graphic for it. In late 1997, Bulls GM Jerry Krause told coach Phil Jackson that he (and as a result, the team) would have one last season. They called that season "The Last Dance," opined one of the fans.

Probably the one tweet that sums up the coach: "Phil Jackson is a fucking boss." Here's a fan's all-time favorite 90s squad. "My best NBA team of the 90s. Thanks to MJ, Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc, Kerr, Harper, Randy, Coach Phil Jackson, etc."

'What are your thoughts on Phil Jackson and his stint with the Bulls?
