Spoilers for Season 4 Episode 4

Shaun Murphy and Lea's relationship is at an all-time peak of a rollercoaster ride once again as he suggests she moves in, but Lea isn't quite ready. There are certain things Shaun does and says to fix the current breach in their bond and while it might not be the sweet nothings one wants to hear from their boyfriend, fans have decided Shaun is the sweetest for offering at least. Lea, not so much, as she was branded "needy and whiny" for her demands.

The fourth episode of Season 4 titled 'Not the Same' saw Lea tell Shaun that moving back in with him won't be the same as before because they aren't just buddies, or roomies anymore. They are in a relationship, and that complicates things. Lea also added that moving in would be a whole other level of commitment, and eventually went on to suggest that if Shaun were to clear out her online shopping wishlist she would at least consider the offer more solid. And Shaun being Shaun, just gave her his banking password.

This prompted fans to take things to Twitter, as they wrote "Soooooooo tired of Leah now she’s so needy and whinny girl bye." Another tweeted: "Lea is so great at f**king things up. Shaun is so sweet!" Another tried explaining Lea's side of things noting "Lea is definitely insecure. She doesn't want anything to ruin what she and Shaun have. That's why she needs a bit more, as she told Shaun." And a fourth fan simply quipped how "Something about Shaun whispering his banking password isn't exactly the sweet nothings anyone wants to hear." That said, a fan noted "I don’t get while Lea doesn’t want to live with Shane when she already has before. She knows what she’s going to get."

Sure, Shaun must have thought doing yoga with her and giving her his password would be enough to gain her trust, but even later in the episode, Lea's confused look at Shaun saying he feels happy with her around proves she isn't fully convinced yet that moving in will be the best idea. Here's hoping she sees the light soon!

'The good Doctor' Season 4 airs on Mondays at 10 pm only on ABC.
