LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Girls on the Bus,' which follows the lives of four female journalists covering the presidential campaign trail, sparks intrigue and suspense among viewers about the outcome of the presidential election.

Throughout the series, presidential candidates Felicity Walker (Hettienne Park) and Hayden Wells Garrett (Scott Foley) have taken the spotlight.

There are also two other presidential candidates, Althea Abdi (Tala Ashe) and Biff de la Peña (Mark Consuelos), but they're given such little screen time that their chances of winning the election seem slim.

Hayden is a favorite among the four female journalists due to his good looks and kind nature. However, they don't regard him as a serious contender, convinced that he can never outshine Felicity.

With only two episodes left, all the loose ends will likely be tied up. Before the release of the last episode, let's discuss whether Felicity can win the election or not.

In 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 8, Sadie McCarthy (Melissa Benoist) publishes an article that exposes a link between Felicity and a donor on her PAC who is embroiled in allegations of sexual misconduct.

The article's release could significantly damage Felicity's reputation and credibility as a presidential candidate, potentially affecting her chances of winning the election.

If the donor is found guilty of misconduct, Felicity's standing as a prominent presidential candidate could be in jeopardy, potentially undermining trust among voters.

She may feel compelled to withdraw her candidacy. Any association with a sexual offender can carry significant weight and severely impact a candidate's chances of success.

However, if the donor is not found guilty, Felicity may be able to regain voters' trust.

In the last scene of Episode 8, Hayden is depicted making a phone call discussing Felicity's controversy and Sadie. This scene suggests that Hayden could be the individual who sent Sadie the burner phone to tarnish Felicity's reputation.

Viewers also witness Sadie making a phone call to Bruce Turner (Griffin Dunne), disclosing that the sender of the burner phone is a man named Declan Morales.

However, Sadie suspects that Declan was hired by someone else to make the call.

Hayden may have hired Declan to execute plans that would impact Felicity without directly involving himself. It appears that Hayden is willing to go to great lengths to secure victory in the election.

Hayden's kind demeanor towards voters, journalists, and people could be part of his strategy to earn their trust. In contrast, Felicity's occasional rudeness or diplomatic approach with journalists, especially Sadie, has led to a lack of favor among the press.

However, if Hayden is found to be the man who sent the burner phone to Sadie to falsely accuse Felicity, it could severely damage his reputation and potentially help her win the election.

In 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 6, it was revealed that Felicity was the leading contender in the South Carolina primary, with her campaign gaining momentum.

This highlights that Felicity had gained trust among voters in South Carolina. Additionally, her stance on women's rights was also well-received by journalists and the public.

During the Las Vegas campaign, Felicity also became the talk of the town after shutting down a misogynistic man with her witty reply.

In a press interview, a man made a sexist remark suggesting that a woman's place is in the kitchen.

In response, Felicity took off her bra and set it on fire, sending a powerful message against gender discrimination and advocating for women's rights. Social media was abuzz with her name following the incident.

Her strong standing in the South Carolina primary, coupled with her favorable policies and public perception, suggests that she could emerge as a frontrunner in other primaries as well.

In 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 10, viewers may finally learn the outcome of the presidential election, including who will emerge victorious and become the next president of the United States.

'The Girls on the Bus' Episodes 1-8 are now streaming on Max
