'The Curse of Oak Island' Season 7: Here's when the next episode will air
'The Curse of Oak Island' has been delivering on some delightfully entertaining episodes in Episode 7, as the Lagina brothers are desperately trying to hunt for the mythical treasure. It has been hectic for them, as they've been hunting for the flood tunnel and the path to the fabled money pit, and not getting many answers.
However, they found a whole lot of other stuff, which brings them closer to the theory that there is gold on the island. In the previous episode, they got a tip that the 90-Foot Stone just be closer than they think.
The show is on a Christmas break for the moment and so Episode 8 will now air on January 7, 2021.
Meanwhile, here's a little understanding on Oak Island, and why exactly it has been labeled as cursed. For over a century, treasure hunters have examined Oak Island thoroughly, hoping to find hidden chests filled with gold. This frenzied search back in 1795, when young men discovered a depression in the ground beneath an old oak tree on Oak island, leading them to the conclusion that there’s treasure buried there.
The hunt continued in the late 1800s, with little success but more determination. The tale of a curse began to ruminate, where five people perished in the hunt for buried treasure. According to the legend, in order to solve the Oak Island mystery, seven had to die.
And so, the Lagina brothers decided to do some extensive research and examine each and every rock on the island. While they have not found any treasure, they have found other items, like a mysterious brooch which could be dated back to the George Washington era, some strange rocks that indicate the presence of a flood tunnel, and more.
