It has been an exciting season for 'The Curse Of Oak Island' fans. The Oak island team has been busy scouring each and every inch of the mysterious island and have made new discoveries in each episode. The theories are getting more intriguing, and the desperation to reach the buried treasure has hit a feverish pitch. The team is determined to uncover the mysteries of the swamp. Even the Hurricane Dorian couldn't derail their efforts.

In the next episode, titled 'Water Logged', the team works harder than ever at the swamp. For all they know, it holds the key to the Oak Island mystery. The official synopsis reads, "The fellowship of the dig doubles down on their efforts in the swamp and discover that it might hold the key to solving the entire Oak Island mystery as Fred Nolan predicted." Going by the episode title, they're close to intercepting the flood tunnels.

In the previous episode, the Lagina brothers and their team investigated the accepted tale of Daniel McGinnis and his discovery of the depression near the oak tree back in 1795. They decide to examine Daniel McGinnis's involvement in the whole Oak Island mystery and ponder whether he and his friends had actually discovered some of the treasure and hidden it somewhere on the island. At Smith's Cove, they found a hint of a tunnel, which fuels their conviction that they might have intercepted a part of the flood tunnel.

They made a historic find: the coconut fiber, which was said to have been used to booby trap the flood tunnels.

Just a while back, they discovered iron pikes that seemed to have sustained a fire. The team speculated whether this is from the ship-shaped anomaly at the bottom of the swamp. The questions continue, and the answers are scant.

Will the Oak Island mystery be solved?

'The Curse Of Oak Island' airs on Tuesdays, History Channel at 9pm.
