'Crisis On Infinite Earths': Supergirl has a face-off with old 'The Flash' villain Weather Witch

Remember her? She is Joslyn Jackham, the daughter of the villain, Weather Wizard, one of the foes The Flash had to fight in Season 5.

After years of build-up and suspense, the multiversal Crisis struck the Arrowverse. A wave of anti-matter obliterated universes, and the superheroes got stuck in the Vanishing Point. Yet, this story has a happy ending (not for Oliver Queen though), and all was restored after the Arrow's supreme sacrifice (again).

'The Crisis On Infinite Earths' spanned five episodes and five shows, including 'Arrow', 'The Flash', 'Supergirl', 'Black Lightning' and 'Legends Of Tomorrow'.  It was filled with neat cameos and numerous Easter eggs, that fans enjoyed pointing out. The best cameo would have to be Ezra Miller, who played The Flash in the 2017 film, the Justice League.

The first foe the superheroes face after 'Rebirth' in Part 5 is Weather Witch. Remember her? She is Joslyn Jackham, the daughter of the villain, Weather Wizard, one of the foes The Flash had to fight in Season 5.

She was also a member of the 'New Rogues'. It is during this battle with Weather Witch, Supergirl discovers that she and Flash are on the same Earth. Weather Witch is an unusual personality in the comics, though she hasn't had much time to make an impact in the show as yet. In the comics, she is transformed by Penguin from being a prostitute into a member of 'New Rogues'. She dies at the hands of the Weather Wizard, who kills her with a lightning bolt.

The Crisis finale had a bittersweet ending. While all the superheroes got their family back, Oliver Queen was not so lucky. He died during the battle with Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Anti Garrett) sacrificing himself to recreate the multiverse.

'Batwoman' and 'Supergirl' will return to The CW on January 19. 'Black Lightning' will be back a day later, on January 20. 'Arrow' Season 8 will return on January 21 with the backdoor pilot for the spinoff show, 'Green Arrow and the Canaries' and 'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 will also begin airing on the same day.
