It's Monday night and FOX's new crime drama returns after a break for more drama and action! 'The Cleaning Lady' sees a Cambodian doctor thrust into a life of crime when circumstances threaten to let her ailing son die.

We previously saw Thony De La Rosa (Élodie Yung) work to clean up crime scenes and later be approached by the FBI who wanted her to be an informant. We previously saw Thony lie to Garrett about not knowing Arman, but he has solid proof that she does and threatens her with it in the third episode. He purposely meets her at the hospital and warns her showing the pictures he took saying that she'll be deported if she doesn't cooperate. Initially, she doesn't comply but upon being mistreated by Arman, changes her mind and approaches him herself. Garrett promises her protection if she provides him with useful information on Arman and the family he works for.

Sneaking her way into working for the wedding taking place in the crime family, she sets about snooping and gathering evidence to provide Garrett with. Thony manages to enter the money room under the pretext of cleaning and finds an important list of names but is ambushed by one of the family members. But Arman steps in and the two share an intense argument that was emotionally charged. But she got what was needed and got her job done.

Towards the end of the episode we see her meet Garrett but instead of showing him the evidence, she just gifts him a pair of walkie-talkies for his son's birthday and says that she couldn't find anything but did not want to come empty-handed. He says keep probing and she agrees to continue to do so. Intending to keep her cards close to herself she now is under the protection of the FBI while also being able to keep working for Arman and tracking the shady business happenings. Looks like Thony's getting smarter as the game advances and plans on safeguarding her and her family first.

'The Cleaning Lady' returns on Monday at 9 pm ET on FOX.
