'The Challenge': Is the women's elimination rigged? Fans claim producers don't want CT and Wes out early

Based on secret voting, Ashley Mitchell and her partner Chris 'CT' Tamburello were pushed into the elimination. But there were a few twists waiting to happen before they could begin what could be their final task on 'The Challenge: Double Agents'. Aneesa Ferreira who won the detonation task had to pick another pair of agents who would compete against Ashley and CT, she chose Wes Bergmann who partnered up with Natalie Anderson.
As they were gearing up to compete, Thomas Joseph 'TJ' Lavin made it interesting by announcing that it would be a women's elimination, which meant Ashley would go against Natalie. They both come with a lot of physical strength and have proven time and again why they are the best pick for the show, but there's always one winner and in this case, it was Natalie.
She not only saved herself from the elimination but also earned herself a choice of switching partners. Natalie could stick to Wes or could pick CT or anyone from the remaining contestants. Meanwhile, fans are of the opinion that it was a women's only elimination because the producers did not want CT or Wes gone this early in the game.
"I'm gonna watch the entire episode right after it airs, but let me just say...production stepping in to save CT/Wes (by making it a women's elimination) is disappointing but not surprising #TheChallenge36," a fan commented, while another shared: "As soon as we had a chance to get CT out because you know he wasn’t going to move himself over that beam, they say it’s women’s elimination. F**k this. #TheChallenge36."

"The Producers didn’t want to get rid of CT and Wes so soon they made it a women’s elimination night. I hate them #TheChallenge36," a fan commented. "Even the challengers know the whole girls day elimination is rigged #TheChallenge36," another wrote. "Oh thats messed up! It's only a Girls' elimination night? How does that even work when y'all are a team? #TheChallenge36," a viewer pointed out.
