For Katie Thurston the pressure is on now more than ever, seeing that every elimination brings her one step closer to finding her happily ever after.

Currently, the remaining contestants are Blake Moynes, Michael Allio, Andrew Spencer, Justin Glaze, Brendan Quinn, Mike Planeta and Greg Grippo, each vying for Katie's heart. However, as the final episode draws close, the men have been seriously thinking about where they stand.

With just five men now, each of them is feeling the heat of the competition. One on one dates is now more important than ever, seeing that it's the only way the guys can work on their relationship. This week, Greg was chosen for the one-on-one date. While the rest of the men weren't thrilled, seeing that it wasn't them, Brendan was more upset than the rest.

Without having scored a one-on-one date, Brendan began questioning where he stood in the competition. It turns out, he wasn't the only one. "The biggest question is why am I still here?" with all due respect Brendan, we were wondering the same thing #TheBachelorette," tweeted a fan. "EVEN BRENDAN DOESNT KNOW WHY HES STILL THERE #TheBachelorette #bachelorette," added another. "What if Katie actually picks Brendan and it just seamlessly moves right into a Married At First Sight episode? #TheBachelorette," suggested a fan, proposing the ultimate reality TV spin-off.

Brendan decided the best course of action was to talk to Katie about it, seeing that he believes that their relationship is not where it should be. It was definitely hard to watch, as he went in hoping to find answers. Although he wanted to work on his relationship, Katie mentioned that she doesn't see them reaching where they'd like to be anytime soon.

Katie and Brendan both seemed to be at very different points in their relationship, and he decided to go home instead. However, fans were completely on his side, seeing that he stood up for himself. "Someone want to explain to me why Katie kept Brendan only to tell him the next week that they won't be able to get where they need to be in time? #TheBachelorette," tweeted a fan.

"Good for Brendan taking the initiative to get the answer he needs bc he knew his time was being wasted. KATIE should have sent him home or anyone else for that matter instead of that nonsense group date she's sending them on if she knows there's nothing there. #TheBachelorette," agreed another. "this season the guys have just unknowingly voted themselves out, one by one. katie has only done like 30% of it #TheBachelorette," pointed out a fan.

Although Brendan didn't find love on the show, he did find a great friendship with Blake. Before leaving, Brendan visited Blake to say one final goodbye before parting ways. Fans were here for their bromance. "everybody talks about connor b and greg's bromance but what about blake and brendon? #TheBachelorette #TeamCanada," asked a fan. "canadian bromance  #TheBachelorette," pointed out another. "Blake's been here for 2 days and Brendan's like #TheBachelorette," joked a fan.
