Who is Andrew Spencer? 'Bachelorette' suitor’s British accent worked on Katie Thurston
Andrew Spencer made quite an entrance. A confident walk, followed by a British accent and the warmest hug - right from the word go you could see Katie Thurston leaning towards him. With 30 men to choose from, 'The Bachelorette' Season 17 is not going to be easy for her but Spencer made it easy with his effortless charm and easy-going personality.
Will he survive the competition though? From what Reality Steve blogger Steve Carbone has shared so far, Spencer makes it to the final leg. In all honesty, it's not too hard to see that he will be one of her top choices. Blake Moynes, Justin Glaze, and Greg Grippo are the other three in Carbone's list, and hopefully in Thurston's too.

Who is Andrew Spencer?
Aside from being the smooth-talking suitor on 'The Bachelorette', Spencer is "truly a man of the world." He divides his year between living out of Vienna, Austria, where he plays professional football, and Chicago. Back in the US, he is a teacher's assistant and football coach. His bio on ABC says living in Europe gave him a different perspective, which shaped a good part of his life. "He is not afraid to make a grand romantic gesture and says that when the moment calls for it, he has no problem driving for hours just to hand-deliver lunch and fresh flowers to that special woman." Someday, Spencer hopes to get married and have five children.
But that is not his only selling point. He makes a "mean margarita," reported Reality World. Also, he's the cousin of a 'Bachelorette' alum. Clay Harbor appeared on 'Bachelor in Paradise'. He lives in Chicago and has played NFL for nine years, the site further revealed. Harbor was also a part of Becca Kufrin's 'Bachelorette'.
Did Thurston confess her feelings for Spencer?
Spencer appeared confident of his initial interactions with Thurston. In the sneak peek too we see them bonding like there's no tomorrow. In one of the cutaway scenes, she is seen calling Spencer, and the moment he turns she jumps to hug him. As they embraced, it appeared as if she whispered "I love you." They have a spark, a chemistry that's palpable and we hope, for their sake, it translates to something meaningful.
'Fake British man cannot be trusted'
Meanwhile, fans have weighed in with their thoughts on Spencer. Most didn't appreciate his "fake" British accent, which Thurston indulged in when they had their first one-on-one date.
"Oh man! A fake British accent. That was always secretly going to be my move coming out of the Limo if I was ever on the show. And she loves the accent and the reveal. I knew it would work! #bachelorette," writer Shawn Krest tweeted, while another shared: "Calling it now. Fake British man can not be trusted. And yes, it was the lying for his intro that led me to that conclusion. #bachelorette."
A third posted: "The British guy had me intel he said he was faking the accent also jeff the rv guy can just go home now lol #bachelorette."
