'The Bachelorette' alum Ashley Hebert reveals husband JP Rosenbaum has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome

Ashley Hebert from 'The Bachelorette' season 7 recently revealed that her husband JP Rosenbaum has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome.
Taking to Instagram, Ashley posted a series of stories where she opened up about her husband's condition. "JP was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome yesterday. He is in treatment and doing well. It may be a long road to full recovery, but we are so grateful to everyone that has helped us get to a speedy diagnosis and treatment," the 34-year-old Bachelorette alum shared.
Apart from Ashley, her 42-year-old husband also posted a series of stories on Instagram that showcased him laying in a hospital bed on Sunday night. He described his diagnosis as, "Very surreal and humbling and crazy, rare.” Adding to that he said, "Things you do every day, like picking up this phone, or buttoning buttons, tying shoelaces, putting on deodorant, just can’t do it. Picking up my kids, can’t do it. Wiping your ass, maybe TMI, but might have Ashley assist on the next one. Can’t really believe it.”
Continuing, JP added that he might be spending a few more days in the hospital as the doctors try to figure out if his symptoms have changed. He shared that there is a lot of physical therapy in the future.
The news of JP's diagnosis comes just a few days after the couple celebrated their 7th anniversary. Earlier this week he took to his Instagram profile where he shared a post of him and Ashley along with their kids. He captioned the post, "7 years down, probably about 3-4 more to go. Happy anniversary to the woman responsible for all the love and happiness in this picture (and basically all my pictures for the last 7 years),"
The famed fan favorite Bachelorette couple got married in December 2012 after they met on season 7 of 'The Bachelorette' in 2011. The couple also share two kids together named Fordham and Essex.
