WILDWOOD, NEW JERSEY: On 'The Bachelorette,' the female leads, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, are starting to develop feelings for some of the men and have selected who will receive "hometown dates." With Rachel's dates this week, viewers may witness something they don't normally expect.

In case you are a first-time viewer, here is what happens during a Bachelorette hometown date. The leading woman, in this case Rachel, will meet with her top suitors' family and/or friends to get to know him a bit better. The families frequently express their worries about the 'Bachelorette' methodology, including concerns about a hurried engagement. Once such anxieties are allayed, the couples normally seek the family's blessing in case they get hitched at the end of the season. But what if the bachelorette fails to attend the most essential part of the hometown date? Meeting the parents!

Rachel will travel to the hometowns of Zach, Tyler, Aven, and Tino, as was previously mentioned in an episode. On the group date, Tyler, a small business owner from Wildwood, New Jersey, received a rose, which infuriated Tino, a general contractor from Playa del Rey, California, who believed he should have received the rose. Nevertheless, Tino got his own rose at the ceremony.

One of the most crucial responsibilities of being the star of 'The Bachelorette' is selecting the person they will go on a hometown date with. Because connections deepen even more when families are involved, they should not be taken lightly. Although Rachel appears to have a close relationship with each of the guys she has selected, certain spoilers for the forthcoming episode indicate that she could have opted out of meeting at least one set of parents. The hometown dates are meant to help the women pick which lucky guy will receive their last rose even more clearly.

The 'Men Tell All' episode, in which the majority of the contestants and the lead reconvene, is one of the most eagerly awaited ones in 'The Bachelorette' season. The lead character and the finalists face each other, making the 'Men Tell All' episodes famous for being passionate, dramatic, and occasionally confrontational. Revelations regarding what transpired during filming this episode this season have recently surfaced. Spoilers claim that Tyler took Rachel to his hometown of Wildwood, New Jersey, but that things 'changed' in the run up to meet his parents.

After going on a hometown date with Aven two days prior, Rachel came to the realization that she did not feel the same way about Tyler. Rachel ultimately made the choice to avoid meeting his parents. The show did capture Tyler visiting them without Rachel, though. Tyler informed Bachelorette Rachel during the 'Men Tell All' that he valued her candor at that particular time.

Do you think it is smart of Rachel to miss meeting Tyler's parents? To see how Rachel and Tyler's hometown date unfolds, tune into ABC on Sundays at 8 pm ET for a brand-new episode of 'The Bachelorette' Season 19.
