Mom warns parents that kids watching ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ will lose their souls and open GATES OF HELL
TROY, TEXAS: A central Texas mother has been warning American families to not let their children watch Disney’s 'Hocus Pocus 2' as she fears the movie can cast a spell in their home and can unleash hell on their children.
Jamie Gooch, 33, of Troy believes that simply watching 'Hocus Pocus 2' can implicate viewers in their evil doing. The long-anticipated sequel of 1993’s cult classic premiered on Disney+ on September 30 with original stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy making a comeback. "A worst case scenario is: You unleash hell on your kids and in your home," the mom-of-three told KWTX.

Gooch's claims first caught the public eye when she went viral for her Facebook post, which is now private. In the post, Gooch encouraged other American women to be the "gatekeepers of our homes," adding she wanted to "sound the alarm" on the fictional movie to protect the children. "After all, the whole movie is based on harvesting the purity of children's souls so that witches may live on...What is happening when we watch these films? What are we subjecting our minds to? What are we welcoming into the homes of our families?" Gooch asks in the post published on September 26.
The concerned mother then went on to say that the "satanic church" reveals that witches and warlocks "use and sacrifice children in their 'spiritual rituals.'" "So before you hit play on the night of the premier of this movie, please ask yourself if not only your mind, but your children's minds, are strong enough to ward off the hypnotization and bewitching trance that will be coming through your screen to aid the desensitization of the coming evil in this world," she wrote.
In an interview with KWTX, Gooch said she has witnessed how things on TV have become "manifested in real life," but did not provide examples. "Everybody thinks it's fake and innocent, but they could be casting any type of spell that they want to, anything could be coming through that TV screen and into your home," she told the local outlet.
Gooch said her goal is to make families proactive, not reactive. “I think at the end of the day, I want people to walk away with discernment,” she added. “Just start thinking, start thinking for yourself and even overthink, and consider all the options of what you’re partaking in.”
The now-viral monologue left social media perplexed. While most users criticized Gooch for her beliefs, some supported the mother. "As I leaned in closer to the Holy Spirit I started to see things differently. Halloween wasn’t just a innocent day anymore, but a very important day for Modern Witches and Satanic sacrifice," a fellow mother wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, 'Hocus Pocus 2' has received a mixed welcome, with fans praising the performances, especially from the three evil Sanderson sisters. However, the movie has received a mediocre 61 percent rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. In the latest chapter of the spooky comedy, three young women light the black candle which brings the Sanderson sisters to the modern day. The teens must figure out how to stop the witches from wreaking havoc on the world.
